First time dad. My little girl blessed us on May 17th. I woke up at 1 so my wife could get some sleep. I'm loving all these videos because let's face it we need all the help we can get.
Congrats on your baby! My daughter was due May 17, but came a week early in May 10! She is 8 wks today. At what point do I switch from saying weeks to months lol
My daughter has been having the cross eyed and I've been so worried about it. I thought she would have problem in her eyes. Thank God I came across this video it was really helpful. My heart is at rest now. Thanks a lot
I'm always scared, I even want to go to the hospital to be sure. Please can you tell me in detail what she said in the video I don't understand English, so I used a translator to write to you
New dad, daughter is 5 days old. I can’t believe you addressed 3 of my major concerns in this video. Thank you. Definitely needed to see this video to calm myself. Cheers.
Omg! That video was perfect! I was actually starting to think our baby was allergic to our dog with all of his sneezing!! Who knew it was normal?! Thank you for this!
When I had my very first baby I used to worry so much whenever she used to go cross eyed randomly every now and then. It kinda creeped me out as I didn’t know why this was happening 😅. But this only happened for like a week or two and then she was back to normal. Alhamdulillah, her vision is just fine ❤
I just want to say Thank you for all these great videos! As a first time mom, I have so much anxiety on even trivial things that I sometimes think my baby needs some medical check up/intervention. Your videos helped answer some of my questions and helped me take care of my baby.
Same I just had my baby on the 13th and am worried about everything, wanting to make sure I do everything right and nothing is wrong with her, videos like this do help making me stay informed and more educated can't ever go wrong with that.
Thank you this is helpful, sadly we are now past the new born stage. My son is 8 months old now and I worry about how much he uses his hands he is constantly playing with them flinging them around , opening and closing them and such especially when he is eat in his high chair or nursing
Thank you so much for your content. I'm a FTM and often worry about trivial things. Your videos help reassure me that things are normal. Though I have a 10 month old who is already walking and we so weren't prepared because we always assumed it wouldn't happen until after 12 months 😅
Thank you for sharing these videos. I had my first child April, 2022. My baby was born premature at 25 weeks. She is now 8 months corrected age and she still cross her eyes every now and then. I am some what worried about this since she has pasted the 4 to 6 months however her vision seems ok and I got her eyes checked and the doctor says to have them checked when she's 2 years old.
Thank you so much for your videos ! I had these concerns this past week and you helped me be a little more relax and aware instead of having anxiety. 😟
Sended this to my husband cos he is so horribly concerned about these signs happening to our baby... Thankyou for the amazing and helpful video.. P.s : first time parents here
Now whats your baby eyes ..is it ok I mean normal.. bcoz my baby have also cross eye on some times now her age is 1month 10days..plz reply I am worried about my baby
Love your videos so much. Do you think you could do one of stopping the use of the dummy/pacifier? I know parents have their different reasons but would really love to see a video on this. Personally my daughter is 17 months and only uses it for sleep but would like to discontinue soon (after speaking with the dentist). I like that your approach is gentle and loving and would feel bad about handing her a dummy with the tip cut off (as I have heard as a suggestion), thank you
I noticed my baby was stretching and stiffned her hands back and her face turned red and rushed to hospital but this was actually happened bcz of extreme cold weather and I kept her warm continuously for 2 days and everything got better.
Thanks for the video. Maybe you would do a second video, because according to the comments, there are a lot of other behaviors your viewer are also concerned of. ☺️ My little girl just turned 2 months old and what concerned me the most is that she is gagging from time to time. Sometimes when she is sleeping and somtimes when she is awake, but sometimes there is no vomit coming. But if the gagging ends with vomit, it frightens me a lot, because she can't breathe properly during gagging and I also worried that she might suffocate by her own vomit in her sleep. Another odd behaviour I noticed is, when she is fighting me or my breast during breastfeeding. She fights by punching me with her fists, complaining loudly and shaking her head wildly. In between the "tantrum" she does drink.
Is it normal for baby to root even when they are not hungry? My baby would be full to the brim, nothing will be touching his cheek and he would root pretty much all day long. I would offer a bottle and he would reject since he is full. But its super frustrating when I keep having family tell me "omg, why wont you feed him?", "he is hungry and starving!"...
Ah yes the sneezing, my 2 week old is doing lots of that without any mucus. Good to hear it’s normal actually my new born is doing most of these things but he has no problem with tummy time, maybe the protesting is still a bit away but he tolerates it very well.
Thank you so much much for this video cause I was just crying because my baby trow his hands and legs back and then bring them in and I thought he was having a seizure .....I guess God let me came across this video just to relax😢
Glad this video was helpful. It sounds like you have concerns about your baby's development/health. It would be best to discuss these concerns with a doctor who can see your little one in person and give you tailored advice.
Omg you have made my life so much easier! Thank youu thank youu!! All of your advice on all videos are making my life as a first time mom so much better and less worrying. Sending you lots of thank yous and hugs!
❤ My now 7 month old was born with his tongue was out. I took him to the Doctor and Dentists they BOTH said it's "normal" and as he gets older it will go away on it's own.. He's now 7 months and his tongue still comes out.. What should I do? Has anyone gone thru this???
1st you described about cross eyed, and as u said its normal , I want to ask what if cross-eyed with stiffness in arms and this last for 2- 3 minutes in 1 month old baby? Is it normal?
I can relate many things of my newborn daughter with what you have mentioned on your videos (not only this one) Extremely helpful content. Lots of Love from India !
Now My baby in 2 month from the ending of 1st month she had disturbed sleep just went to sleep and waking up with in minutes by raising her legs and arms is it problematic plz give rly
Thank you for the video and it's really helpful. I am a bit worried though my 2 months old likes to look sideways whenever they are feeling sleepy or irritated is there something that I should be worried about?
I wouldn't be concerned. As bubs at this age don't have good head control they look away with their eyes when they are tired or wanting a break. It is often a good communication skill at this age. If you are concerned though check in with your little ones doctor.
Hey first time mom....my baby experienced eyes tending to face each other and the tongue was was high up is that normal he's 4days old he's also sneezing so much
Hello Ma'am I have a question, is it normal for a 2 month old to bend her head towards the front such that her chin touches her chest. She's able to hold her head upright also but at times she just wants to bend her head that way and she seems to be uncomfortable so I have to pull her up fast.
Hi I need send u video for my baby girl she is 7 month and have thing in her head move right and lift without reason I make eeg for her and it's normal but she still do it pls help
Wish I’d seen this when my son was newly born 2 months ago lol I was so scared but I see these things changing with time and have relaxed into pure wonder at it all😊😢😊😊❤
Hi @malar Vijay glad you found the video helpful. I would check in with your doctor to see if the cough is ok. Just take note on when she coughs. It is after a feed or on waking or while playing. This is something you can also tell your doctor.
