Thank you so much for this review! Ironically, your previous reviews helped me make the decision to purchase a Leuchtturm 5 year and also an Unbound planner (as well as an Ink & Volt for goal setting). I like the Unbound 5-year (especially the paper weight), but I feel like I can fit in a few more lines in the Leurchtturm and I almost like the "messy" journaling look when dealing with a small space like this. I imagine my kids reading my journal decades from now and there's something almost antique and timeless about unlined journaling that I love. I'm excited to get started with it. Like you, my son will be leaving home near the end of this journal and I look forward to looking back on my "greatest hits" from his teen years.

Thank you for this! I am a fairly new subscriber, and I so enjoy your videos. I did not know 5-year journals even existed, but I love the idea of keeping one; especially being able to look back over a 5-year period to see how things have changed (and stayed the same). I just ordered the Leuchtturm one. I like the look of that one better (and the price). What a perfect time just at the start of the new year!

The Unbound journal is beautiful. I'm using the Katie Daisy planner for journaling and mood tracking now. So I don't need this quite yet. Will have to keep in mind when I'm don't with the Katie Daisy planner.

I'm on my second year of using a 10-year journal :) The journal is from Paperblanks, which is my favourite favourite notebook/journal company because they make the most gorgeous covers and their paper is really good too.

I just ordered the Midnight Blue version of the Unbound journal. I like having the lines and thicker paper. Ended up being over $60 with shipping. The cost was $54USD. They had a yellow one called Sunflower (yellow/gold color) that was $2USD cheaper. But I ended up getting one where the gold foiling stood out more. Now, just have to wait for it to arrive. And jot down some notes so I can remember what I did the days without it. 🤔

But it's always good to ask. Unbound is a very small company run just by Annie and her husband...and I haven't seen a discount on these ever that I can remember.

One problem is that if you want to start in the middle of the year, or after January at least, you waste those pages since you can not start at any date.

Still using it:) And I added in the Unbound at the beginning of this year. In the Unbound I record just a gratitude or how I saw the hand of the Lord in my life that day. I love both of them a lot:)
