I had loc’s for 11 months. I had several starter loc fails. My grid, twist, coils…. All failed because my hair bunched so much. After having them combed out and wearing my hair loose (2 months) I am going to try braid Locs. I now need to investigate if interlocking will work on braids bigger than micro. My hair is quite thick and I’m thinking smaller braid might be too much volume. Your hair is perfect!
Your hair is beautiful and healthy now I’m encouraged to trust the process and miss lady did you skip the frizzy stage because all I saw was perfection
Gorgeous, stunning, beautiful…all the above. Thank you for sharing. Did you have a stage called the ugly stage at all? Because your locs are beautiful the entire time.
Absolutely stunning!! It's so interesting to see that your hair went from fluffy to still thick but just more condensed as time went on. And those curls!!! Beautiful.
Your hair is so beautiful. I am about to get mine locked. I am looking forward to not having to do my hair every day. I pray my hair will look as beautiful as yours. God Bless.
Thank you for sharing! I love your microlocs! I was on the fence about sisterlocs and microlocs for years. I have a consultation appointment tomorrow and I can't wait to start my journey. After seeing your hair and some others of these beautiful microlocs, I will likely go the microloc route. It seems more manageable for me and my lifestyle than sisterlocs.
Thank you!! No it hasn't yet. I have video showing the braid pattern up close if you would like to check it out 😊 ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oiUMXxX7RFk.html
@@keshia1390 wow that pattern though lol. You were one of my inspirations for starting my locs. I am almost at 4 months. I love the twist pattern in my locs . I don't really mind if it doesn't completely go. I hope I don't regret saying that😅. Thanks for the link. 🎊🎊🥳🥳
@@vonniebun13 Congrats on 4 months!!♥️ I'm the same way. If it goes, it goes. If it stays, that's OK too lol!! But I am surprised I have so much left after 5 years. Sometimes I wonder if I should have started with twists instead 🤷🏾♀️
What type of grid patteren did you use? I heard you mention the ones in the back are larger so it looks fuller. What is the large size and what is smallest size. Your hair is so gorgeous and healthy!
Thank you!! I kinda tried to follow grid patterns similar to the sisterlock grid. My grid is definitely not perfect but it works for me. For the sizes, I used a #2 pencil as my guide. I believe it's 1/4 inch. I tried to make the ones in the back about that size and the ones in the front a little smaller. But honestly, I kinda winged it lol. So I have different sizes everywhere. I hope this helped a little 😊
Thank you!! Yes, some of them are. Check out my loc texture video when I show my ends up close 🥰. Here's the link ➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oiUMXxX7RFk.html
@@keshia1390 currently 2mo into it and so happy I did it ☺️💕 thanks for the encouragement! We have roughly the same size but my back is a tad bigger :)
You can but it would take a really long time. If I ever decide I didn't want them anymore,I would probably just cut then off. But that's just my preference for now. If you have the time and patience to comb then out, it's definitely possible
I have coarse 4c hair.. is it ok to start microlocks on very loose 2 strand twist.. i want maximum volume and had this idea.. am getting them this weekend so is it a good idea?
I have seen microlocs started with 2 strand twists. Those that I've seen, do seem to have a lot of volume. Search RU-vid for microlocs started that way to help you make a decision. Good luck 🥰
Great question!! I actually made a video counting them if you don't mind checking it out 🥰. Link is here➡️ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2E_YJAVj1BI.html
