You got misunderstood I guess! Allow me to explain.. May I know how many chickens you have? If you have more numbers, practically it is not possible to trace each and every chicken’s cycle. And yes, normally a chicken will go through its incubation period until the chicks gets hatched. For example, if you regularly hatch chicks through Chicken, there is a possibility that you end up throwing damaged eggs (not all the time) or due to place mismatch some chickens will not adapt and fly away with inconsistent incubation, basically those scenarios occurred hence mentioned. By the way I never mentioned that all chickens behaves this way!

I understand your point, but you are not. Clearly there is difference of opinion and perspective. pls mention your number if you are interested, we can discuss about this over phone and get to know more.. my number is mentioned in description I believe! I never endorsed incubator is the best and go with incubator only for hatching, did mention couple of cons in other way which I experienced.. which is not applicable to everyone and I can speak about my experience alone, cannot make some random/general statements about livestocks.

I agree that hens go broody for as long as they want even without sitting on eggs. I had a hen which was in that state for more than 4 months, because there wasn't many hens and roosters around, also there are hens that come out of that state within a week if they were not sitting on eggs. Also, from business perspective, it's almost impossible to use only hens for hatching chicks on a bigger scale and maintain them day in day out. Hatching chicks using incubators is the best alternative.
