50+ ADVANCED Tips in Sons of the Forest (Sons of the Forest Tips & Tricks) 

Three more tips that are really useful to know. 1. Using the stun gun on the slinky/worm/john2 mutant makes it easier to attack 2. To store heads and limbs for the greg recipe, make an effigy to store them on. 3. Rotten heads and limbs still work for the greg recipe. Bonus tips: -You can print out a flask from a 3D printer and solve your water problem,especially if you have raincatchers(If it's Winter they freeze,don't try to set up a fire near them,I tried). -When using electricity,if you have a multi story building,you can use wires on pillars,supports and the top log of a wall to transfer the power to different floors. -Enemies have a hidden stun meter.When they are overwhelmed by many attacks they will flinch.Don't be afraid,grab a faster weapon and slash away. -When fighting the...john2?The long ass mutant with 2 dudes on each side,try to get as close as you can to the middle joint point.They are defenseless when neither can reach you.

Thx for vid. I found a Advanced tip: From empty to full sled in seconds by driving the log sled close to a Log Holder. Jump onto the sled. Take 2 wood from the holder and now every additional wood you want to pick up is pulled out of the holder and transferred directly to the sled. If its not working you should change the angle. Once you got the drill it will change the way you build really quick! :)

Build a rain catcher inside bunker, build fire to set off sprinkler system, unlimited water.

That drying rack tip gave me so much joy. I always put a campfire beneath those for the *realism*, but never knew it actually did anything!

_An addition to tip 2 about building the base above bunkers:_ *-You can transport logs inside via zipline rope if you shoot it correctly! Thus you can make undestructible storage unit!* (*IMPORTANT:* _COLLISION_ of the bunker when you are _OUTSIDE IS UNLOADED._ It will be _LOADED IF SOMEONE IS INSIDE!_ _OR BUILD THE LOGS/ROCKS STORAGE_ nearby the cable so whenever the logs/rocks will fall from zipline they'll be picked up no matter the collision! Otherwise they'll clip through and fall to the abyss!) *-You can actually use it on almost any cave/bunker.* (I have found Maintenance A one being the best for it due to the various resources, caves and bunkers nearby. Only thing is the trash lying around in it + baby mutant may spawn inside. About it in addendum below!) *-You may be unable to build anything besides preshaped builds while in cave / bunker!* (If you want to build inside by placing logs/rocks manually, you NEED to get a friend inside the bunker to load the collision mesh! THEN you may shoot the rope outside so you can get between bunker and the surface without contacting original ladder/rope that loads the cave/bunker. So you will be able to make the custom builds inside! It appears that some bunkers, such as Maintenance A, do not have collision for the ceiling. You can shoot the rope out to the surface and so use it to get inside abusing the bunker/cave building block! *BEWARE THAT YOU MAY FALL IF COLLISION IS UNLOADED!*) Addendum: with the last method you'll be able to cover trash way more easily! Maybe even build undestroyable bases this way or anything you want!

This is the best survival game. I hope they provide continued support and add more things

the support on the structures is called a a brace or a gusset. a strut is generally a hydraulic rod used in things like suspension and hold doors open

The stick torches in caves is a great tip.

I have around 150 hours on this game and would consider myself a forest expert, but this video showed me a lot of cool tips and ideas that I've never even thought to use. Finally a sotf video that tells me tips I didn't already know lol

FYI hangliders op you can gain a ton of altitude using that technique and can go from the beach to the top of the mountain, and it doesnt take super long either

Golf carts are a fantastic weapon. With sufficient run-up, you can one-shot cannibals by running them over (it often dismembers them too). If there are multiple cannibals at my base, I’ll frequently hop in my golf cart to run some of them over. Bonus: if going at near top speed, you won’t lose any momentum from hitting them. Additionally, you can negate attacks from cannibals while driving a cart, as long as you are facing the attacker.

When playing in Hard Survival mode, can there be a situation where there will be no more ammunition, food, etc. on the map? Does it somehow regenerate over time?

you can cook rotten meat and make it cooked again. i've done this with the same piece of meat, fish and cannable meat multiple times. Even if you burn it just take off the fire and put it back it will go back to cooked after a few seconds. It's like food gets a factory reset every time they get cooked.

If you have a cliff base, put an uncapped wooden wall right near the edge and enemies will yeet themselves over and off

how do you switch weapons so fast? the video i saw, you had to hold inventory button to click on your backpack to switch weapons, but you didn't. is there a 1234 weapon slot switch button?

Today i was attacked by one of these demons that burn from the cross but that demon was 5 times bigger and stronger compared to the normal one any ideas why?(i was at my base btw not in cave or bunker)

I really hope they do not change the torch Cave thing I spend hours in the first Forest game putting down skull lamps it was the most annoying thing I have ever done just to get light in the caves at least going into caves with lit torches automatically is worth doing the more and more

It would be sweet if Endnight implemented some Warzone/Fortnite style map changes at some point in the future. Instead of The Forest 3 they could just use Sons Of The Forest as a platform on which to build new experiences over time.

Forest was better in terms of speed of construction and accuracy, in Sons of forest you can't do whatever you want. they only made it look better that's it the game is trash I'm really disappointed.
