@@sakitech i got my s22 ultra today and I am sure that I'll return it in this week. I think I'll wait for S23 ultra or S24 there are some improvements but not that major. What do you think?

Mine is in my hand now. It's not a pink more like a reddish copper. I was disappointed. My note 20 is green and I still love that color over this one. I'm actually considering giving this 22 ultra back and keeping my note 20. There's not a big difference between the 2

Saki, my husband's phone is due to arrive on Monday and mine will be shipped in about a week (I ordered a special Samsung color). We are SO glad that we watched this so we know how to set up the phone when it arrives. Well, my husband will be the guinea pig and I'll be able to more quickly go through all the set up options since we'll practice on his! With your detailed instruction, we are not concerned at all about setting the phone up for optimal use. And to think we used to just buy a device and use it however the phone store rep set it up. Only now do we realize how idiotic that was.
Be careful. I pre-ordered mine (the Green 22 ultra) on the 20th and was told that it would show up on the 25th or 26th. I checked my order on the Verizon app and it said that it would ship on March 25th. So I went in today and canceled my order and got the last black one they had in the store. I'm too impatient to wait a month for a pre-ordered phone though lol. Check your order on your app. It'll tell you when it's supposed to ship, the people in store will bullshit you.

My husband's matte black device arrived ahead of schedule and the accessories (that we got for no added charge, using the $200 credit they gave for the purchase) arrived today. My device is slated to arrive on 3/8. Sadly, we have 4G SIM cards and will have to go to a Verizon store to get 5G SIM cards. I'm still excited to set up the new device and start using some features that aren't on our Note 8's. Hey, its the price we pay for wanting the cool toy! Hope you enjoy the black one - it looks VERY cool!
I have both. Even the Note 10 Plus 5g. I like all 3 a lot. You aren't missing anything when it comes to the s22 Ultra. I definitely would not trade my Note 20 Ultra for the S22 Ultra. Thankfully due to a good trade in deal att had I was able to get the S22 Ultra for a decent price. Buy the S22 Ultra if you want but it is in no way necessary when the Note 20 Ultra and Note 10 Plus 5g are still soo good.

I wish I could select the power button long press to flashlight. Because I want to use double tap as camera ql, and short press as native screen on/off

1 feature you did not mention which I feel is quite important for ear piece/headphones is Adapt Sound. You can even do a sound test to personalise the sound.
finally, a useful tips and tricks video that isn't just telling us stuff that we've already seen on previous Samsung phones. last video I watched, every tip except one I can already do on my s10+ that I use for work. this video actually had some new stuff

My mother got the phone and was wondering if there was a way to customize the text screen with the themes. She downloaded some of her old themes from her other phone, but it did not change the text screen. However, it did change the wallpaper, lock screen, folders, and keyboard. It just did not change the text screen. Is there no way to customize the home screen or is this an issue because it is an older theme not meant for that phone? If you could answer this, I would greatly appreciate it. I am considering getting the phone as well, but love the function of being able to customize the text screen.
Nice settings! I can't get enough. I was able to customize phone. The only thing that did not work for me was the screen shot on motion sensor whenever I swiped my palm but everything else worked well.

With the edge lighting on pop up notifications it use to be to where you can assign a color to different apps and the took that feature away. For example you could assign yellow for snapchat blue for text messages and so on . Why would the give you a feature and take it away.
Hey Sock, I will mention that naming your device can have consequences. A lot of work places can use their network software to heat map you and naming it would be an identifier.
@@UndefeatedEagle basically like a map of where you are the most I guess. The redder a place is, the more you've been there, the lighter it is, the less you've been there. Can't imagine that's common tho
Hi Saki, if you use the write on calendar feature does what you add have a way to display on other devices that sync with the calendar or can you only see it on the Ultra? My calendar is linked to a Google account that I also access from other non-samsung devices
In Battery and Device Care I am missing Diagnostics , after Additional care I only see Software update . I am not sure why this is missing but Thank You showing me that . I really find your videos very helpful . Once Again Thanks !
TY for the tips. Phone was delivered today. Setup of the S22 Ultra went pretty smoothly except for three items. Themes and wallpapers did not migrate over. I had to download them from Galaxy Themes. They were all in there but did not migrate over. Probably User Error. I also had a hard time migrating the Galaxy Active 2 watch over to the new phone. Setting up the unlocked phone on my Verizon plan was super easy.
Good tips. Unfortunately Samsung phones always have hidden features which are almost impossible to find. I love the phone so far but one UI isn't appealing. That's why I use nova launcher prime as I have always used. It gives more flexibility to UI. Samsung keyboard isn't good either. I replaced it with SwiftKey. With it you can't use S pen to text feature. After trying the feature I didn't like it. So lack of it doesn't matter. Those who are interested in other launchers you can still use all the widgets and all the features the one UI offers. Just change the home screen app (default app) temporarily to one UI and make the changes you want and then change it back to another launcher. Home screen settings doesn't need that, but widgets and home screen changes need.

Hey Saki, I really appreciate all your videos! I currently have a problem with my S22 Ultra that's driving me crazy. When with the locked screen I pull the pen and write a on the fly note, I can't PIN it. And the PIN icon doesn't appear anywhere on my phone... can you please give me a hand on this matter?
