This is interesting. It’s like the thumb draw but with no lock. I can’t imagine you could shoot above a 20 pound bow like that, but I’ve never done it. Makes me wanna try. I have a ton of X nocks but I use them for Comanche and Slavic. Locking the thumb underneath like normal makes them pop out and you risk a dry fire. If this works with a 40 bow and a glove I might use it
Speed is only one fairly minor area by which the skill of an archer is measured....there are 3 pillars of archery...speed , power , precision also skill is measured by form and technique....the three pillars are manifestations of form and technique, but let me be clear and we must be very careful in its determination as one can become very good at doing something very wrong and this is primarily the issue I'm seeing in regards to this particular archery enthusiast , he has been bitten by the speed bug at the expense and exclusion of all else . I do not see good posture ,I do not see much in the way of physical muscular development, I am not even seeing a decent thumb lock nor a consistent or powerful loose . Speed without good form and technique will only turn the heads of those ignorant of Asiatic archery. What is of greatest importance is the joy the archer takes from his practice....some don't require perfect form and technique to feel the joy of their archery....others are more complicated and only total perfection will tug at the corner of their mouth, the one thing I would strongly recommend.....lose the cigarette 🚬
