@Omm Vlogs Beats the hell out of crApple, I was using Apple for years before Samsung, switched to S21 in 2021. Samsung is awesome so much better! Apple rips people of with poor software, glitches, screen freezes, there phones hardly upgrade from year to year! Samsung are way ahead in so many ways! Apple sucks now! S23 camera is Awesome!
Believe me, this is one of the finest introductions of S23 Ultra Camera Setting on Internet. The speed of tutorial is quite awesome and all details described in friendly manner. Your voice is awesome and overall presentation is quite excellent. Keep the good work going. Hats off to you.
I absolutely love this video! I just got my new S23 ultra and can't wait to go and practice all your tips. I appreciate the time you put to teach us all this!
Great video! Not many go into such detail on the Samsung Galaxy S Ultra videos. It's, for the most part, "But the iPhone is better..." I have always said that it is possible to take superb iPhone beating photos and videos using the Pro Modes! Thank you!
I just got my S23 Ultra about 2 weeks ago and I love it. I decided tonight that I was going to watch some more (training) videos on using it better. I came across your video and am very glad I did. I never in a million years would have guessed or ever figured out all the different camera uses on my own. I have a cottage up by a camp and have been waiting for decent weather to take some pictures and videos of the lake and you just made my day since I now know how to take them more professionally, let's say. Your time is very much appreciated.
Thank you, Gene, I am really glad my video was able to help you. One thing I would suggest getting a tripod for your S23 Ultra, that way you will be able to take stunning photos in low light using night mode because what I forgot to mention in the video is, when you use a tripod, the phone lowers the ISO and shutter speed in night mode, that way you will get clear photos with very little noise in them. 😊
One thing to keep in mind is that the "Scene optimizer" to scan documents through camera works only on standard 3:4 (12 MP). If you have changed settings to 50 or 200MP then you will not be able to use it as document scanner
I have the s23 ultra. And after testing all the camera features I can say with certainty. The iphones camera is better. it is, the pictures are more consistent, and video is far better. Now the s23 ultra can shine tho. For example Night time video it doesn't suffer that horrid lens dots iphone 14 pro max does. Making nighttime footage on the iphone, not usable for me. And on top of that the 10x zoom doesn't doo that much better than the lesser 6 I believe on the 14 pro max. It's a tough fight on that one. But, with that said if you go into PRO mode and set high bit rate video on, and custom set your settings you can get some incredible video. Now with all this said, both of them are a very close fight. But I think overall the Iphones pictures are more reliable. Allot of the random samsung photos I've taken are over exposed, too bright, or too saturated. The 200mp camera has some serious issues. The FOV is horrid. You take a picture of your food you'll have a dot that is clear, and the rest blurred. On top of this, for some reason the proccessing ont he 200mp lens is HORRIBLE. It'll take a picture which is a little dark and make it look like the sun is shining in. It boosts the colors beyond repair in many scenes. you can't even USE the 200mp lens in the pro picture, OR exper raw mode. Another pointless limitation that boggles the mind. the standard 4:3 picture mode usually turns out far better exposure, and colors over the 50mp, or the 200mp which is very NICHE on when it's good. Just using the camera with it's default picture mode tho still produces very nice photos. Just be careful outside on REALLY bright days. You'll get that legendary samsung vivid neon green grass STILL. Overall from what I've seen? the google phone really does take the best picrtures of ANY phone out. The only goodt hing about owning the s23 ultra is that since it's a top tier phone. I'll be able to trade it in and basically get a different phone for free. Don't get me wrong. it takes great pictures, and great video. But it misses the ball with consistency in its color science, and exposure along with the vast differences between the profiles depending on if you're using the 12, 50, or 200mp camera. I feel these cameras can get WAAAAAAAAAAAY better. But samsung really really needs to work on the software and release an update.
One thing i noticed on youtube, when you find better content that really helps you then if you check about that youtuber in 99% cases you will find that he/she is from India, that's great 👍 See this youtuber also
I watched lots of videos on youtube but I think your video is enough to learn everything about s23 ultra camera 📷 pls make it in Hindi so many people can learn also thanks lot 🙏
I'm sorry I haven't watched all your videos. But I need some help in setting up a document camera. So I can teach painting on Zoom. Is it possible that the s23u could accommodate that task? Thanks for all your great videos!
Shutter lag depends on the amount of light available, taking photos in low-light will always have shutter lag because slower shutter speed. If you want low shutter lag, use fast shutter speed in the pro mode, but that will give you darker photos. Its the same with every camera, not just Samsung phones.
@@TechGuyCharlie yes you are right but my 13 Pro Max can do that and it is Not blurry. When I had a S21 Ultra it was blurry 80%. Also SuperSaf and others meantioned that.
I got my samsung s23 just yesterday for its camera hardware only... Ur video is really helpful, now I just want a days off from work and it wl b me, the nature and my samsung s23 ultra
Congratulations for the video. I'm a video enthusiast and I've noticed in some videos in panoramic shots, right - left and left - right, some jumps that I don't like. Is this a problem that persists even with the latest April updates? If there are, they can be eliminated in the next updates, in your opinion? Thanks for the reply.
I've been watching iPhone videos non-stop for the past month trying to convince myself to buy one but now that I've watched your video I feel like I'm not going to switch at all anymore thank you.
A great video Charlie. I watched it all the way through and learnt so much from your wonderful instructions. Thank you so much for taking the time to create this amazing tutorial.
I knew i was gonna love this beast of a phone, but now, I'm loving it more because of this video. 3 weeks ago i got robbed of my S23 Ultra inside the bus. I was so devastated. Luckily i had an insurance and i got a new one. Tnx for the video. More of tips and tricks for S23 Ultra owners!!!!
I have just bought this phone specifically for its cameras and your video has been invaluable in getting me up to speed with all your hints and tips, thank you for your time and generosity in sharing
Thank you so much for this video. It was so informative and I learned so much about the camera that I would never have figured out on my own. Thank you and I think you did a great job and it's very appreciated!
All I have to say is thank you so much for your hard work putting this together and all the other RU-vid people like you that put these videos together that help us all out..that is just awesome
The directors mode on my Samsung Note 7 was better than it is on my 23 Ultra. You were able to change the window shape, the size, you could soft blur around the edges, along with other features. I wish Samsung wouldn't have taken it away. I used it a lot. I almost never use directors mode on my 23 ultra.
Not the first time I'm hearing this! Samsung has been doing this for a while where they take away useful or cool features and replace them with less-functional ones, they did the same with smart select edge panel on the new foldables.
Hello Tech Guy Charlie, maybe you could answer me this question: the video compression on S23 Ultra is HEVC, all the way from 30HD to 30 8K. Is this the problem I have with You Tube and Whats app, this format is not compatible? Everything looks jittery, to not to say unusable! Thanks, Yorg
Hey Yorg, there is an option to switch off HEVC videos in the camera settings then Advanced video options. I record videos for RU-vid on the regular S23, with HEVC switched on in UHD 60, it saves a lot of space on my PC, and RU-vid does support HEVC uploads, as for WhatsApp, I havent had any issues with WhatsApp and HEVC, they go through just fine.
Thanks for this exceptional video. Extremely well organized. I hope someone paid you well for it - or did you do it because you like the camera? Or both?
Thank you for great video. I have one question. Can you take pictures with pen while recording. ( placed phone on stick high and I was recording but also I wanted on that height to take some pictures with pen ) . Thank you. Salute.
Thank You! And unfortunately, we can't take still photos using the pen while recording a video, if you press the button on the pen, it just starts and stops the video recording, You can always extract still images from videos later on in the gallery.
Methodical and thorough! You earned my sub! I have a newbie question: When I take a selfie photo or video, especially in landscape aspect, my eyes are looking sideways and not directly ahead. I've scoured the Net but can't find a way to shoot a talking head video of myself with eyes looking straight ahead to screen in selfie mode. If I reverse to front cam I can't monitor myself and doing so end up off centre. I do realise the 5 S23 lens are located on the top left of the phone and don't, at first glance, have a centre stage feature like the iPad. Any fixes, apps, suggestions, other than focusing left to the front cam in wide aspect?
Wow, I really like your camera tutorial. You helped me to understand and learn how to use all the settings and features. Mostly I use my mobile to take pictures though I do have a NIKON, too. I am glad to have bought myself a S23U. Coming from a Xiaomi Phone the differences are not just a world or a planet, they are galaxies- you know what I mean. The 11 Lite was kind of fantastic, too and my daily companion but the Ultra is better, it's an awesome highclass device. I love it.
This video is awesome dude you put so much work into this! Also, daamn India, you're looking beautiful. The colors of the outside world (as well as your set) are amazing.
Wow, awesome video! Thank you! I was looking for detailed video for s23 ultra cameras, because it's confusing, and I could not find a detailed video. I could not understand when and which camera to use, which camera is which, and how to activate each of them. Just too many things there. I wish there were a button with the "?" on the screen and if you don't know what something means you can tap the question mark button and then tap what you don't know and the window with explainations pops up. That would be so usefull! I want to understand these cameras so I can use their full potential. You did a great job! Thanks again.
None at all! The audio is perfectly in sync. Not sure if you are experiencing this on the phone or on a PC, because if the audio and video aren't in sync on a computer while playback, then it lacks hardware acceleration for h264 videos. I used to face this problem on my old PC, went away after upgrading to a new graphics card, newer ones have the decoder built-in.
@@TechGuyCharlie Hi, when I look at the UHD 60 footage on my PC, it is in perfect sync. I use Vegas for editing. I have used many render settings, but can't get the audio to sync perfect. If I record in UHD30, no problem, it is perfect. I would like to take a UHD60 and render out as a 1080 30FPS mp4 file. Like I said, I tried all video settings and FPS. May I ask how you render out your edited MP4 files? I am also using a rode-smartlavplus for my audio connection.
