That’s why I don’t understand when Ghanaians lie and say “Nigeria has a bad reputation” if Nigeria’s reputation is bad, how come American, Jamaican, Canadian, Haitian, and British celebrities claim to have Nigerian heritage. Una go explain tire..🇳🇬🇳🇬💪🏽💪🏽
Because they understand what we are a rare and unique people amongst all of our races. We are divinely blessed and chosen. It’s not just the ghost genes. We are the future and it’s a good thing. We are happy to be in a position to be inspiring America. This means that we are on the right track and will get there someday.
@@soniaNtui We have to forgive them and move on. Can you imagine not being a Nigerian? I wouldn’t want that. They just need to wake up and smell the coffee and face their reality and do better to improve their country because we expect greatness from them with all that resources and intelligence at their disposal. They can stop being the colony of the USA and get rid of 80% their entire political class they would achieve greatness. Above all they must look up to Nigeria without envy, jealousy or hatred. That’s all they need to do. And we can help them to achieve whatever their vision of the Ghanaian dream is. That means millions of Nigerians coming to town to develop Ghana and they just feel loved there to do that. The way Ghanians feel in Nigeria. The way all foreigners feel in Nigeria. We let people be.
I haven't watched if, but it he portrayed Nigeria in a truthful/correct light. I don't see why not. We in the 🇺🇸 do all we to galvanize the country on a positive light. Also on Netflix: 'The Resident' series shows Nigerian doctors doing great things...Dr Okafor, a gifted surgeon and her mother who is also a surgeon that travels across the world to perform rare surgeries while still living in Nigeria. We're tired of the negative 1% being used to make idiotic generalizations about us. It's a win-win for 50 cents and Nigerians.

I hope they got a Nigerian to translate our culture into an Hollywood movie as we hate how Americans represent Africa. Our culture must be interpreted according to how we present it to ourselves. Not how the west wants to see it. There will be no dilution, whitewashing or pollution of our culture in any negative light that will enrage us. Respect for our culture and way of life is extremely important to us.
It's not the first time. Some years back he used the title of Nigeria's world renowned novelist, Chinua Achebe's popular novel "THINGS FALL APART " without permission. It stirred up controversy then.
