I was in year 5 with my two hip hop head mates and still remember the impact and recognition he was getting back then crazy shit that a bunch of primary school kids just knew about him at all his reach was crazy legit
its a bit sad and surprising to see at the same time that how casually 50 cent is talking about him getting shot like its a casual daily thing that somebody gets shot where he lives or used to live
@@r8164639 For years I've been saying we need a PTSD check. If you been in the streets, real situation every week- streets, and you have just a little bit of sense, you know, a lot of the shit going on ain't normal behavior and a lot of it is due to "past" traumas. We're shell-shocked and always on edge. Always thinking someone is out to get us and in return we do to other people what we are afraid of happening to us. It's a nightmare that no one is talking about. Violence over looking at someone is a perfect example.
Along with this interview, I love how you can piece together how truthful get rich or die trying was. The other rap movies are cool & all about biggie & pac, but 50 playing himself for the hood majority of his story made it extra special.

He said he was shot at 9 times because if he came out rapping he was shot 5 times every one would think he is some new York want to be pac and he wanted to be seen for who he is Curtis "50 cent ," Jackson. Who lived a much crazier life and really grew up in the streets. So the extra 4 is really him exaggerating the fact that he had a much harder and realer life than PAC and that's something I respect and I don't mean no disrespect to pac either but it is what it is
