50 cent melted his voice to in da club to the point where you cant listen to the beat without hearing him and you cant say the lyrics without hearing the instrumental. Thats how you know an artist is truly talented...
Wow this interview is amazing. 50 is inspirational. And the fact piers is actually nice to the interviewee and congratulating them and not grilling them says it all
50 is the man. Anyone who says otherwise does not understand the impact he has had on hip hop and the music industry. He is a revolutionary figure in entertainment and has completely altered the way that white america interacts with urban artists. He was one of the first rappers turner mega-CEO who has made some of the biggest deals in their respective fields. Now, rappers are moving into this sphere and space that 50 has ultimately created and are able to make money and succeed as not only rappers. Much like P-Diddy before him, 50 is able to capitalize on not only music, but other business ventures and has made this route more appealing to urban youth. Long story short, 50 is the man.
damn, 50 is way more sophisticated than i thought. I grew up with afew 50 CDs that we found in a used car that we'd bought, i've always liked him because of that but now I legitimately respect him
I agree that Piers wasn't letting 50 answer his questions completely but, seriously....do you think Piers wasn't freaking out sitting directly across from the guy??!! Lol!! I'm not at all surprised by 50's(Curtis Jackson) intelligence, his openness about his PAST, and so what if he was in Hillary's 'camp' at the time!! Didn't you hear his reason 'why' he was concerned about Obama becoming President???!!! I was scared to death of the same damn thing!! Look, the man did do some things he's not proud of, who hasn't honestly? But that's just stuff he 'did'!! Not who he's become! Anyone saying negative comments on here about this, are just so obviously jealous of his success!! But hey, Piers??!! Shut the hell up for a minute and let the man speak!! Ok?! Proud of you 50!! Keep up your great work with all the generous, unselfish things you're doing! I think you are #1!!!
50 cent is the greatest alive, story is legendary he made hip hop beef interesting. He stays making dope music with a gritty queen sound that resonates through ever hood as a symbol of muscling up and music
Whatever 50 went threw in his youth he definitely learned his lesson i mean man i didn't know he was so grounded and smart and he is actually wise. i hope he writes a book one day
I don't listen to 50 cent much much but he's a lot of a different person to what I expected through his music, he's actually a really respectable and interesting person!
I respect this guy so much.... was a businessman when he was in the streets... came in the industry and feeded off his debut album and made millions through other ventures, and now he don't need to rely on shit
50 Cent does actually behaves almost like a politician. He is standing straight all the time, a confident smile and sharp/quick answer. And lolololol @ 09:47
Yh I agree with 50 when he said along the lines of 'I think if my father when there when I was younger, he would of stopped me from doing the things that I did and got into. I see my son a better version of me'. That fits in so right with me.
He even mentions Chris Lighty as one of the few people influential to his career like Dre, Em and Jimmy. R.I.P. and thank you Chris for bringing great hip hop acts like 50 Cent into our world. You will be greatly missed.
Mr 50! what an intelligent man ! what an interviwee !you've achieved so much, travelled so far, - nay sayers on here are the no where guys, bitter, non triers, and never achievers Curtis = you ROCK
so fiddy was peddling bullshit when he rapped about crystal and blunts, just like africa bambatta and krs1 were saying. What a surprise. Wack wack wack
FUTGuap it definately aint hip hop though, its corporate entertainment for the masses who just don't know, glossy well packaged bullshit. You'll concede that ? Cos hip hop has always been about authenticity, so called keepin it real. So he's a wack bullshit rap star who even boosted his name 'fiddy cent' from someone else, a legendary NY hustler who died in the 90's. Couldn't even be assed to make up an original name ffs. Plain wack in my eyes. highly commercial candy ass rap for people on treadmills in gymnasiums, fakers and wanabees. Which one are you ?
50 cent is helping young kids, lyrics in songs tell stories - some stories r cute n some stories r blunt n darker, 50 cent seems like a good guy, everyone who slags him off - just wish they had his fortune n r bitter. IRON MAIDEN FOREVER HEHE ;}>
50 Cent is one of the realist people in the industry. Anybody thinking anything he says about his past is fake then you're pretty stupid & you need to do your research. He's beefed with so many artist & never ever did anybody call him a fraud because people that know the streets know about 50. He's an extremely smart guy/business man; legend. Inspirational - coming from nothing to becoming a billionaire.
Need inspiration your'er at the right place. You Jason you have come a long way. Continue doing what you do and don't forget even life here is at its own disadvantage right at home. It's life same planet different places.
I never though 50 was a thug i recognize talent and hard work when i see it.This interview just made me respect him more. Not sure why people desperately want him to be a thug
It may be an act, it may be the real 50 but one thing you cannot deny is that he is a very intelligent man, he knows how to play the game and has made his money and is now giving back.
50 cent, has his shit together. Clearly he has more heart than most mere mortals. I had never looked past the persona he created about 10 years ago. Another example of things almost never being what they seem
Didn't really like 50 cent before .. but hearing him talk shows me that he's actually a good person trying... And not a fake.. finally an entrepeneur not fueled by greed ...
@0baalberith0 just wanted to note to everyone that that is a slightly modified Einstein quote "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."...fifties alot smarter then most rappers ahaha peace
"Limited exposure to information" that's so true I've met people who were capable of so much more but cause they were poor the fell to the bottom one of them is homeless the others gang related, dead or druggies
