Smart picks at those $0.50 records. I'd pick up that Kool & The Gang single, all those Lou Rawls too, and that disco Roy Orbison as well (to upgrade my ring wear copy).

I would have EASILY been racking up the stacks at that 50 cent sale, grabbing all that vintage country and most of all ALL of the “Silver Platter Service” albums on Capitol, which was a radio series of MOR artists played and interviewed by a Disc Jockey named Jack Wagner. You have to be at the right place, right time!

Our markets here in Aus aren't anywhere near as good. Wish we had content like this to create on my channel.

3-4 years ago a collector was selling 25c LPs at a indoor swap meet. All rock, Pop, Country Jazz. No junk. 101 Strings was $10? I wouldn't even buy it for 10c! I was at a sale and everything was $3 each. 30,000 50c-1.00 value records, maybe $3. Goodwill takes ruined albums and wants 4.00 ea. Gross!

You shouldn't pass Tammy Wynette - Higher Ground (at 17:49) if it is a.50c record. It will sell around $10 I guess.
