Was inevitable. 50 “beefed” with just about everyone he could, only the small fries played along though. It was just 50 staying relevant, he’s not a “gangsta”, he’s a businessman at heart. He just promoted his brand harder than others would theirs. You’ve also got to remember 98% of these tough guys are actors - 50 is a big dude and evidently not apart of that 98%, those actors listen to threats. 50 is smarter than he is hard though, same reason he loves to talk about that story where he threatened an old man but he refers to him as a kingpin, so it sounds scary. Also fun fact: Game has used the same verse for about 10 years now in “freestyles”. He’s changed it up for multiple songs, but still the same premise. The whole of G-Unit’s purpose was for 50s future “clout” if it ever disappeared.

So basically Jimmy and Dre asked 50 to help Game out. 50 did that. Game started making a lot of messes and 50 had to clean up and then Game was feeling himself too much and Fif was tired of giving him chances. That 2005 BEEF tape was so biased toward Game cause they didn’t tell all that stuff from before and Jimmy Henchman was trying to change the narrative.
If you were an adult during that era, the real winners were the fans. Game's disses were lyrically superior, and in a lot of songs, were actually just better musically. 50 Cent had nowhere near the success against Game that he did against Ja, etc.. Game also took on the whole of G-Unit, not just 50. For me, I'm far more likely to play one of Game's disses right now than I am 50's. On the flip side, it's a shame it happened in some ways, because I think as a duo, 50/Game were right up there with Mobb Deep, EPMD, Red/Meth.
