You can find the truck in the original too you just have to black out after getting cut on the ship and don't return until after you learn surf then it'll allow you back
I think if you are going to talk about Loreli’s dolls you should show the interior of her house. Also, too many of these facts are Gen I facts and not related to Gen III.
Number 5 and 7 are blatantly false, despite being popular rumours. Gold and Silver also don't involve legendaries in their plot, but both Crystal and HeartGold/SoulSilver do.
@@SpeedySpectrum No problem. I didn't mean any offence by correcting you. I just wanted to point out how easily misinformation can spread and how careful content creators (read: everyone, everywhere) has to be.
0:37 That was actually changed in the german version. Pallet Town is known as "Alabastia", which of course references "Alabasta" - a shade of white with a very subtle tint of yellow. -> Think of how white marble looks
I learned about Nob Ogasawara from the Did You Know Gaming video. It was fascinating to hear the history behind him. I looked at many websites and videos in order to compile the list of facts, including, but not limited to Bulbapedia, TV Tropes, and thegamer.com among others.
@@AtulVinayakS Thanks for the subscribe! No worries at all, Did You know Gaming ironically inspired my 50 facts videos at the end of my Let's Play and Dubs.
Sorry the circuit board thing was a bit of a stretch lol, like a specific board? Because otherwise you could say that about anything, really it's just a maze, or are all mazes also like circuit boards?
I watched to a bit over halfway, and have a few things to note: First, some of these "facts" are quite obvious or are not true. Just something to keep in mind. Some of them were actually interesting if they are true, like the fire red and leaf green pokedex entries However, some, like the pirated copy message, simply are not true. That was a rom that went around the internet. LavenderTown causing headaches was a rumor, nothing more, and rumors are usually something to keep off a facts video. Your mic is fine, but as others said, could use a pop filter or something at least, I'm not entirely sure what. Should help a bit. The facts seem to get more and more obscure as things go on, from obvious ones like the truck to the more obscure ones like the beta maps for sevii islands hidden in the code. That structure can work fine, but if you don't catch the viewers attention in the first minute, you're not going to do as well. Having some of those more obscure facts sprinkled in the earlier parts might help with that. I admit, I myself almost clicked away, but decided to wait and see how things went. I am glad I did, but you should try to keep that in mind. The first chapter in a book is important, the first line of a story is vital. The first 30 seconds of a video can make or break viewer retention, and thus make or break a video.
Read this in its entirety, and I appreciate your feedback. I do have a pop filter on my mic, but judging from what everyone’s said, it sounds like I’ll need a different one. I am on the aurtism spectrum, so my voice does have that sort of cadence. As for the constructive criticism, I completely understand where you’re coming from. I just assembled random facts together for this video, so I will try and make the next 50 facts video more well thought out and better organized, and maybe not quite as obvious.
@@SpeedySpectrum You did do a good job on some of them. It's not a common thing to know what the sevi islands were based on, and the individual places as well. You've got a good start.
I always wondered why your console wasn't an N64, since that was Nintendo's current-gen console at the time; I'm pretty sure this means the N64 is the only console not depicted in the mainline games, since it's a GameCube and Wii in later games.
The man in Pewter Museum saying "July 1969" is more than just an obscure reference to the first moon landing- the guy literally states it himself in his next line "Man first set foot on the moon that day"....
#5 isn't true. there is ONE known dump of the game with the text "if you like this game, buy it or die." this was not nintendo. just whoever decided to dump the game.
@Blu3Blaze18 it's not. There are only two versions of the game the version with a messed up dex and one that is updated. In both they don't have it. It was a hack kinda. Someone wanted to make creepy pastas so they made a few copy's of a hack and added that text I mist have been like 16 when it was de bunked if you do have it. Congrats you have one of those copy's some dude wanted to just have fun with it really.
