My world problem is that I can’t figure what Pokémon I should use for my team.

Mine are: -Facing a pokemon I haven't caught, but all my remaining balls are "too good" to waste on it like specialized balls and ultra balls -Running out of PP during the league and having no way to restore it (bonus point if it's the only move effective against the elite 4 member you're facing) -Running out of repels in the middle of a cave/dungeon -Having only 1 key for item bind -Wanting to use a specific pokemon that can only be obtained when accessing the areas after beating the league -forgetting to take off the EXP share of a pokemon and searching through 20 boxes of pokemons only to remember that it was on a pokemon that's still in my team. -Getting the right answers in Blaine's Gym. -Being stopped from exploring/advancing by a random NPC because he: 1-Got drunk and won't let you go 2-Wants to sell you some illegal candy 3-Saw some rare pokemon footprints nearby 4-Says there's a power outtage etc -Having to walk for 3-5 minutes to get to a cave/island that can't be accessed by flying -Making a mistake and overwritting my save -(Gen 1 only) Storing healthy pokemons then retrieving KO pokemons, then having no healthy pokemon , you instantly pass out and lose money. -Removing my TM slave for a Gym and get out of the city, trying to access an item behind rocks/bushes and having to backtrack all the way back to the poke-center. -Lowering a trainer's pokemon HP to 1 but killing any wild pokemon I try to capture. -Equipping items that boost a specific type of attack on a pokemon that knows 4 moves with different types -When Quick Claw doesn't proc. -Fighting a steel type that knows ground moves with a fire type. -Forgetting about levitate. -When the enemy holds a Sitrus Berry. -Poison sting -Supersonic -Fighting a pokemon with prankster. -Getting the wrong ability on a rare/traded pokemon. -Running out of escape ropes.
