@Leon Barua instead of walking straight you move horizontally and put your crosshair where you expect the enemy for example while using w key you walk straight then look left or right don't do that instead look left then walk with d key or look right and move with a and keep cross hair where you expect the enemy

Tip: Don’t be so aggressive if you’re defending post plant especially if you’re outnumbered. Instead, defend the spike and make the other team take the risks and having to take the chance of being vulnerable to defuse. Hide so that they’re paranoid where you are and creep out only to defend the spike. If you’re too aggro, the enemies have a better chance of killing you and then having time left over to defuse. So many newer players seem to screw this up when all they needed to do was delay the defuse to win the round.

my tip on the hold scope, you dont need to do that when your scoped just press your inspect button (default y) it will scope out with no delay and you can scope in again. i find it useful with the op since you need to click twice to get out (if your still in the first zoom)

Or just use hold and not toggle, it’s better and faster anyway
@cloudshifter
@cloudshifter 2 года назад
By changing the sensitivity to be slower and always aiming at head height, you can really go from bad to the average good player. For the sensitivity put your mouse on the edge of where you normally can have it and drag it all the way across to the other side, it needs to make 180 degrees distance, if it does more lower it, if less make it more. That makes you capable of easier to never overshoot people when aiming torwards them.

QOTD: Learn how to spray. Always test it out in the range. What I usually like to do is start from the head and pull down to below their feet cause those coming from games like COD and overwatch don't get how the recoil works and that it can go outside the crosshair.
@lazytoby
@lazytoby 2 года назад
QOTD: always put your crosshair to head level and train in the range until you are used to it, also get your reaction time to be as fast as you can, 1 more thing is to always stay calm since you need to plan your attack or defends on every round
@avasoloff3592
@avasoloff3592 2 года назад
qotd: i used to crouch every time i started to shoot someone. yes, it helps recoil, but if you’re crouched, but if you have multiple people on you getting out and having fluid mobility while simply learning spray control is so much more beneficial that crouching and being committed in one place. i only crouch during a gunfight if i’ve been on someone or a while and i’m not hitting my shots or if they may have a headshot angle in me

QOTD: learning to talk to your teammates and learn simple but informative callouts can help you and your team way more than you'd expect. QOTD: The earlier you discover your strong points and weak points in the game, the better. For example, If you have a great aim tajd crosshair placement but you lack knowledge of timings, lineups etc, you may start maining duelists. On the other side, if you lack great aim but you can learn lineups, timings and map awareness easily, you should pick up controller or initiator. In adittion to this, I'd recommend maining roles instead of agents alone. If you learn how to play a whole role to perfection, you may win lots of games just based on your skill. In adittion to this, knowing a complete role should allow you to pick the best agent for each match in order to fulfill the role, giving your team a huge advantage.

most useful tip I have for new players is if you came from cod, get used to aim less, if you came from CS, get used to aim more the frequency and moments you aim in valorant aren't really like any other fps (that I've played at least) so it's something that unless you learn and get used early on is going to be a pain to adapt later

For Tip 27, it is not necessary if the teammate survived, then you are safe. There are a lot of people who wait for more enemies to come and since the first teammate didn't check the corner, the other's wont check them either.

tip that i found usefull is when you have to clutch the round and you get scanned by sova dart or anything that gave away your position, theres no reason for you to shift anymore. Start playing agressive before they clamp up and trade you off

Tip from my experience: If you’re going to have a main agent, you’ve GOT to have a backup. Instalockers are everywhere, and if your agent happens to be chosen before you, you’ll need to pick another agent. One that you’re comfortable with and know how to play well. Knowing how to properly use your agents skills and abilities is crucial to good gameplay.

BEST TIP: just be nice. Being nice to your team can encourage them to play better. If you’re toxic they won’t play as good and might even leave game. If someone is being toxic to you or your team, don’t talk to them just mute them. “But what if they are giving info?” Having a good mental is the most important thing even more important then info. Just be nice to the team.

QOTD: everyone has flaws and things you have to work on. although you should keep this in mind, you should always try and enhance and utilise the things you *are* good at! ive never had the best aim, but i have really good utility usage and lurking ability! so instead of spending hours in the range trying to improve my aim, i use my utility more in gunfights and lurk (accordingly) to catch enemies off guard and get easy kills to win rounds. pick an agent that benefits off of what you are good at! since i like lurking, i play controllers (viper, astra) so i can help my teammates take mid/site control while also getting kills for myself :)
