@@tonyprice2256 yes if they are forced to and very hungry you can train them to do almost anything. personally I think they are most happy in their natural environment in the wild
@@mereteavery2338 I think you are correct in most situations. But there are some animals in captivity that because of health conditions may not be able to survive in the wild. Those animals would live longer and perhaps happier lives in human captivity. I can think of a few examples, but in most situations you are correct.
The scary thing is, octopi only live for a couple of years! How do they get so intelligent in that amount of time?!? For contrast, think about a 2-year-old human's repertoire of problem-solving skills ...
Scientists treat animals like as if they know nothing. Animals know what they need to know in order to survive. And animals have emotions. Humans are also a species of animal. But, if we tell scientists this, they will deny it. For instance, scientists study dogs who cry tears of joy, and thought that was not possible. How come?
Animals are incredible. As a someone that is a strong Christian man I believe in the idea of creation of course. God didn't make animals in general to be stupid. Now I know there are some animals that aren't very intelligent. I've heard plenty about the likes of sheep.
I was once at a 24 hour Walmart in NH one night. I saw some birds inside the store wanting out by way of their Garden Center. Of the four birds 🐦, one of them seemed to recognize that the black thing (door control sensor) above the automatic doors, knowing that it had something to do with making them open. So, it started fluttering around the sensor, while the others were on standby, ready to go when the doors opened. Once they did, they all flew out!
I worked at Lowe's Home Improvement when I was in college and the birds did the same thing. They also flew in the store before it closed when the weather was cold and pecked the bird seed bags open to eat. They were fat birds.
At 12:03, The crow that said "Hi was unexpected. The elephant painting is incredible. It doesn't surprise me to see the intellect of the "Primates, incredibly human-like behaviors. I love all animals. All of God's creation is divine. All animals have a great deal of intelligence, and as humans, we don't live with animals, so we don't know what kind of intelligence they are capable of. It's "Fascinating, but also sad at the same time, how many mammals, primates, and all creatures are in danger of becoming extinct, because of pollution, by the greed of man. Don't turn a blind eye when seeing any animals abused. ❣🐶
Your write. However, I would not be surprised if some people would physical punishment for teaching animals. Animals have no more reason to live than humans. For all life, wether an insect, a cat, a cow or even a jellyfish have feelings. That is why I want to become vegetarian.(not become vegan teacher here. Just saying why I am no longer eating meat). Large scale meat farms often violate health codes. Animals such as cow, pigs, chicken and even sheep and goats have to suffer their whole lives so that once the a large enough to kill, they become food. Humans have done more bad than good in this world. I have struggled to find a single good thing that humans have to done to the earth. You might say that natural energy is a good thing, but I see it is a normal thing. What I am trying to say, humans are not very nice animals, they have made other animals suffer, destroyed most of the earth’s land and many will do nothing about it.
There are plenty of people who are mean and cruel, but there are plenty of good people who constantly fight against cruelty. Don't allow the actions of others to influence negative feelings within yourself. Instead, know that as long as there are those who care, there will be help and love for those who suffer...
The end of the sentence doesn't feel right. It should be: "It's amazing when we take our time to teach animals special abilities, but refuse to teach our own children the word of God, the basis for righteousness, morals and compassion. If parents refuse to educate their kids, the state will do it, and brainwash them with Darwinism (with all bad fruits and consequences in life). Your child, your choice ;)
They are not performing any complex tasks, I mean, the chimp with ping pong? It's good coordination and motor skills but not that hard. And most of the other stuff is alteration of application of natural behaviour.

Precious, these videos , these animals are all precious. I want a painting by an elephant, and one of these days I will get it and hang it for all to see. That little mice ringing the bells, incredible. The cat who always chose the right bell containing the ball. Animals are intelligent and nobody can say otherwise. Great video.
Realize that an octopus is smart enough to actually unscrew the cap on a jar containing its food. A type of opening that it would never encounter in its normal environment, but it figures it out.
I have a golden retriever I rescued from a chelter . Very smart. Take care of my rescue kitty just like a mom. When the kittie cry she run to her to relax the kitty.🐕👍🥰
Some people are just dumb or less intuative than others. Almost all of this stuff is based on observation an mimicking (pretty much animals learning from parents) or natural behaviour.
@@suecollins3246 afraid not Sue, I think she was about 43 when she passed. She went in her sleep a few years back now. One good thought, at least she is with her Michael and Mr Grey. ❤️🇬🇧🦍
The Elephant painting that pitcher using its trunk , WOW!!! This proves that many animals really are very smart, and talented. They should keep that painting, long after that elephant has passed away, no offence, and sell it to the highest bidder, but not let the buyer know who really painted it, but lie about the painter for 10 minutes and then show the buyer a video of the elephant painting it. And while that elephant is still alive and well, feed it like a king for as long as it lives, and give it great respect, and the best grooming that deserves.🤯🤯🤯🥰🥰🥰👍👍😇😇😇
I suppose you think that the monkey writing the sign at the end is real, too. Or the dog "doing math". Dude. Elephants han hold a brush, dip it in paint and apply it to canvas, but not to paint a recogniseable tree. At best, you'd get some interesting abstract art. Notice how you weren't shown the whole elephant, or even just the whole trunk? That's because that was staged. Work on your skepticism, please.
The cat with the bell under the cups is probably using his superior hearing and not his eyesight. He hears the bell ringing and sliding and hitting the cup. If you ever watched a cat hunt, they can hear a bug or mouse in the other room and run into the room to the spot where the noise came from. They can pinpoint noise unlike a human that knows the direction and hiw close the noise is, but they have to get a lot closer to pinpoint it.
Awesome video! Dolphins and whales absolutely talk. We just don't understand them yet. A universal translator would be awesome. Will AI be able to understand and decrypt dolphin and other animal talk.
This videos title is one of the most truthful, accurate ones on RU-vid. Every single one of these beautiful animals is highly intelligent and awesome. Gotta love animals.
our neighbor had a pet crow. they LOVE shiny things. after he passed, one summer day during a heavy rain, their gutter overflowed. cleaning it out, they discovered their crow had FILLED the gutter with change.
That Welsh Corgi reminded me of my last pooch- A Shih Zhu female. We would take her outside for her walks, after the age of 1 year- and then hand her the leash. She would then proceed to walk herself with the end of the leash in her mouth! I miss that sweet puppers!!! She was so very smart! I called her "my little girl"!!!!
everybody knows that mice are the smartest animals in the world before dolphins and before humans.....everybody who watched The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy knows it so, so long and thanks for the fish...42
A mouse dunks little balls into the hoop. What next, I'm waiting for a whole team of mice to play basketball. It should make the sports hour on the local news. Animal sports competing for trophys. Yeah, I would watch it.
When Kevin Hart said that a racoon tried peaking inside his house and trying the door knob, I was skeptical. Now I'm a believer after seeing a racoon easily open a door.
The white cat looking under cups is an interesting one. Cats actually have faster mental processing than humans, so time seems slower to them and they may move faster. If that weren't enough help in this game, cats have many times better hearing than human, particualrly in the higher register, which should be pretty handy when tracking a moving bell in metal cups. It's the same skill set that helps cats hear and catch small, fast-moving, squeaking and chirping animals. I wonder if this cat is also an enthusiastic hunter.
