Friendly advice for all of the English learners out there 🌍...you will find it much easier to memorize words and phrases if you physically practice pronouncing them out loud (or reading them out loud). 🗣 The more you exercise your physical senses (sense of hearing, sense of sight, etc.) the more speaking English will feel like an experience, which will be much more difficult to forget. 🧠

I simply Love you video classes. I am an English teacher in Brazil, and I have watched you videos 'cause they help me explain topics in English to my students, and also take the opportunity to practice my listening! I have learned so much by watching your videos! They're amazing 👏 congrats 👏❤

Hi Vanessa, Can I say "Come again?" as an equivalent of "Could you please repeat what you have just said"? Many thanks for your answer, you rock as usual! :)
Thank you for all the time you dedicate to teaching us English. I have personally learned many things from your lessons. I hope you make another phrasal verb lesson
Using phrasal verbs is not my thing to be honest. I hardly ever use phrasal verbs whenever I try to speak English slowly about any basic topic or even quicker. Phrasal verbs are important to be able to speak English fluently, effectively and fearlessly. So I need much more practice by focusing on the correct pronunciation to make my speaking clearer and better. I know I can do it. Thank you so much Vanessa for cheering me up to continue the great work with my English. ❤
I look up to u my best English teacher ever…I would like to let u nkow that I been inspired of loving to learn English lessons the day I saw u on RU-vid since ever.

Hi vanessa! Thank you for sharing this helpful video. I've watched it three times or more and wrote all of them down in my notebook. Who I look up to is my friend. We've living together for over a year, I found out she is good at managing her own behavior. She leads a regular life all the time. I respect her so much and want to be a person like her.
I have always looked up to my dear professors at my faculty of mass communication who had full scholarships in the States. I have realized they are ahead of all the other faculty. So, I have decided to be like them, yet I have only managed to get a channel system scholarship for two years when I was preparing my PhD in Indiana, PA. I always remember my sweet days in that little peaceful town in Western Pennsylvania. I am not exaggerating if I say that it was one of the reasons behind following your lessons my dear Vanessa when I had decided to polish my English. Always love your American accent.
As an non-native english speaker, I understood everything you said and most of the examples at the first time, but when it comes to finding out the meaning without the context, it becomes much harder. Really good lesson btw.
You caught me off guard. Awesome presentation and besides essential enough to go over it many times to petrify in mind through lovely examples and kinda shadowing thanks
I'm very fortunate that for the first 11 minutes of this lesson, I knew almost very words the teach has mentioned. I love to carry it on to the end! I appreciate very much for bringing up this valuable lesson...If you intend to drop out of school or college like Bill Gates, you might become a billionaire in the future!
When I was young, I got to know Sun Yat-sen. His famous quote, in a nation everyone is equal and the people in the nation should live as in one community, rooted in my heart that let me look up to him.
3:50 An intersting variation of "break down" is the noun "breakdown", which means a great division between two or more events. Sometimes that word is used for a detailed description of a cost in business context.
Teacher Vanessa, each time i'm spending some whiles on learning your lessons, i've seen it's the most chance that i've got during my lifestyle. 'Cause with you, there's so many things that i've known. So, you costed a lot for me. English is a language that i really appreciate. But with you, i have good scope around it. And i'm still learning from you. Indeed, i really love the way you're teaching! and as i'm always telling you in my comments, you don't have any equal. Keep on there till dusk down.
Thank you a lot!!!! This was an incredible lesson, this a topic that is kind of hard to me, because there exist a lot of phrasal verbs that sometimes can be a little tricky to get, so thank you!
