why would this matter? The actual climb is from high master to challenger. Getting to master from low elo is just cosmetic part of the challenge.

​@@programix8432 he also loses big chunks of lp when he doesn't wind so it kinda balances out

​@@programix8432 if streamers/ chall players buy an iron account and climb from the floor up, which is a shitty thing to do in of itself as you ruin hundreds of peoples games all the way up until diamond, they are at best extending the challenge a couple of days while they grind out wins in elo's where people have no chance in hell of actually doing anything to them while they fix the accounts mmr all the way up until diamond where people are at least somewhat aware of what they are doing. (outside of the rare circumstances like griefers and other smurfs of course). And on the other side you have a fresh account which will not only immediately jump to plat/emerald if you win all your placements (which they are exceedingly likely to do), you will also reach the lp gain cap pretty damn quick, after all going on even a 20+ game win streak generally buffs the shit out out of your mmr.

@@mantraki it works that way? i thought you lose only a very small amount when you have much higher mmr than your current rank or atleast it worked like that i havent played this year at all
