If you want this feel free. A souls scream. Starring into the abyss. The darkness calling. The soul cries out, reaching, calling. Cry, cry out for salvation. Cry, cry out for the Christ Cry, cry out for healing. Cry, cry out soul into the heart of Christ. The heart of the broken one cried out. Shattered by the world and inner pain. Scream before the altar of Christ. Let the soul burdened by pain reside within the arms of their creator. The one who hears the souls screaming call. The one who listens and opens his arms. The one who catches us when we fall. The one who cries with us. ......... This poem / lyric set. Kind of sets up what I feel is best empressed in metal worship. The scream of anguish from the soul before the Lord as they go through suffering in this life. In the dark night of the soul written by St John of the Cross. There are many times where the soul hearts and goes before the Lord for relief. But the Lord gives nothing. For nothing is what the soul needs. Not what it wants. There is a lot in that book about the inner life of the soul. However the takeaway in my impression for metal is. The laments before the Lord in the Psalms. The lonely nights alone in the dark asking for aid. The scream in mental pain when suffering comes in life to someone. + God seems to be silent. Instead he is listening intently and giving the soul exactly what is needed. The cry of the soul in this place. Seems to be to be the heart of of where metal is basically the best expression of that human frustration. Sure other music helps the expression to. But metal was basically created to express this type of emotion. Not to say that Christian metal doesn't have other aspects of can touch on. Rousing courage, Sending the church into battle. Calling the church to worship. The core expression that it will likely do better then most other musical and artistic forms though. Is give expression to the souls scream while suffering as it needs to before returning home to Christ. Great album God bless.
That is awesome! Well, would you want me to show you some of the prompts and tricks I used to make some of these ones? It's a lot of trial and error, persistence and patience, but if you want you could start your own channel and/or digital artist! I actually used St Teresa of Avila for a track under Lumina 128 (soft EDM), and for a Spanish orchestral death metal track ("Sangre y Santidad" under Eternal Archetype Music). I also plan on reading more John of the Cross to see what else could be used for the music, b/c the music also helps me. And yes, metal has a special way of doing worship and clamors ("Holy Clamors" is the tentative of the next album here).
