Linda Christian Yvonne De Carlo Jeanne Crain Anne Baxter Deanna Durbin Alida Valli Virna Lisi Gina Lollobrigida Myrna Loy Jennifer Jones Maria Montez Katryn Grayson Maureen O'Hara ?
Debra Paget, Alexis Smith , Linda Darnell, Merle Oberon, Anne Baxter, Anne Sheridan, Jean Arthur, Norma Shearer, Mary Astor, Ingrid Bergman, Donna Reed, Deborah Kerr, Greer Garson, Maureen O'Hara. Patricia Neal and Sophia Loren would have been fine additions to the list, as well.
@@Bullen_3 Oh my goodness, you hit some great ones that I didn't dawn on me. Most notedly, where was Maureen O'Hara? She was one of the most beautiful women in all of Hollywood, like ever. Linda Darnell was beautiful, Merle had a very unique beauty, I could go on and on.
great list....Vivien Leigh always took my breath away in a couple of scenes in Gone With The Wind....Sophia Loren is exquisite...Ava Gardner...sent from above....amazing all the beauty presented to us over the years....
Maureen O'Sullivan was JANE, right? there are parts of Tarzan movies where she's talking to Tarzan with that beautiful voice and that very skimpy outfit....and looking like an angel sent to earth....sent me right into puberty!!!
I'll say one thing for sure, the actresses of today can't hold a candle to the actresses of the Golden Age of Hollywood when it comes to pure glamour. The ladies in these photos had glamour in spades.
Mount Rushmore of Hollywood Beauty: In no particular order, Grace Kelly, Vivien Leigh, Gene Tierney and Maureen O'Hara. Honorable mention: Hedy Lamar. Or is that Hedley?
My top 10 #1 Audrey Hepburn #2 Vivien Leigh #3 Elizabeth Taylor #4 Marilyn Monroe #6 Grace Kelly #7 Ava Gardner #8 Gina Lollobrigida #9 Sophia Loren #10 Gene Tierney
My top 10 #1 Hedy Lamarr #2 Yvonne De Carlo #3 Gene Tierney #4 Marta Toren #5 Linda Darnell #6 Vivien Leigh #7 Ingrid Bergman #8 Lana Turner #9 Ava Gardner #10 Linda Christian
Cecilia Robin... That's not true Marilyn Monroe IS NOT the most beautiful person on earth and she NEVER will be - because Marilyn is NO LONGER on the earth. However I would say that Marilyn WAS ONE of the most beautiful women while she was living. TaTa February 9,2023
My choices natalie wood, donna reed, jennifer jones, ann southern, jeanne crane, jean arthur, dorothy mcguire, ingrid bergman, carroll baker, inger stevens, vera miles, shirley mclain, rosalind russell, and Katherine hepburn.
Also Virna Lisi Gina Lollobrigida Myrna Loy Linda Darnell Yvonne De Carlo Anne Baxter Deanna Durbin Alida Valli Ingrid Bergman Marta Toren Silvana Mangano Maureen O'Hara Linda Christian Maria Montez Katryn Greyson Rhonda Fleming
Many of these women were talented actresses more striking then beautiful. These women had faces you wouldn't forget. And where is Ingrid Bergman? She was one of the most beautiful and talented actresses of all time
Are Missing Linda Darnell Jennifer Jones Alida Valli Katryn Grayson Yvonne De Carlo Virna Lisi Gina Lollobrigida Myrna Loy Jeanne Crain Deanna Durbin Maureen O'Hara Anne Baxter Linda Christian Maria Montez Silvana Mangano Marta Toren
All of these women were beautiful AND talented. A product of their time.........we will probably never see the like of them again. And of course, they were a Product of Hollywood and given every possible aid to help them along their way.
So many favorites from the 'girl next door' to the 'exotic'! I would like to see these ladies with current makeup trends...particularly eyebrows and lips.
Glad to see Wong, Waters, and Garland on this list. But - but - but .... Once again Myrna Loy is snubbed! Beautiful, talented, comedy or drama and always made her co-stars shine! I'd have cut Bardot (more new than old and not really Hollywood) for Loy in a hot second.
Thanks for sharing your list and welcoming a list of viewers' favorites. I'd add Ingrid Bergman, Maureen O'Hara, Deborah Kerr, Jeanne Crane, Merle Oberon, Lee Remick, Greer Garson, and-maybe she isn't considered talented enough-Esther Williams.
Wow so many gorgeous women in cinema all remember on this video are true talented beauties, I remember my dad loved Grace Kelly ,& Rita Haywood I as a off shot I always found Ann Margaret & Rachel Welsh my favorite girls.
Linda Darnell was a beautiful and very talented actress of the 40s and 50s who met with a terrible death aged 41. Sadly she doesn't seem to be remembered much these days.
GORGEOUS WOMEN'S I LOVE THESES WOMEN'S FROM NUMBER ONE TO FIFTY I LOVE DORIS DAY GRACE KELLY GINGER ROGER I JUST LOVE THEM ALL THANKS FOR SHOWING THIS VIDEO💜
I'm an old fart now, 74-years old. While most people agree with Liz Taylor as the epitome of movie beauties, alas, I believe Marilyn Monroe owns the crown. During the peak of her success, there was NO ONE but Marilyn. She was such an icon of Hollywood glamour, that I don't think there's a woman on earth who didn't want to be her... even today. RIP.
Yes apparently you are an old fart. That’s ok . Everybody has an opinion. The fact is MISS ELIZABETH TAYLOR was THE most beautiful actress of all TIME!!!
@@AnthonyChambers-y4k Taylor was my favorite brunette and MM my favorite blonde. That said, LIz Taylor will certainly go down as the most beautiful screen beauty of all time. But when I was young, for sheer sexual magnetism and crowd appeal, Monroe had no equal. Even today they still make movies about her, and every woman wants to have her same allure. If you notice, there are hundreds of Marilyn Monroe impersonators, but I can't think of a single Taylor wannabee. Marilyn was an icon like no other. Think about it. Even the Kennedys were drawn to her, and I believe ultimately responsible for her death.
I think of all the ladies, the most intriguing and interesting was Barbara Stanwyck, my favorite actress, but certainly not a conventional Hollywood beauty.
@@akrenwinkle Barbara is one of my favorites from that Era. Her acting was intelligent and intuitive. She could be hard- as she was in Baby Face and Double Indemnity. Then there's her classic turn in Stella Dallas, where she pretty much chews the scenery- without over acting! Her bio could have been made into a movie. What a life she led! I thought she aged quite well, with no apparent plastic surgery. She looked lovely in The Big Valley.
If Claudia Cardinale, Gina Lollobrigida, Maureen O'Hara, Ingrid Bergman, Yvonne De Carlo , Loretta Young and Nathalie Wood are not on this list, then this is a crappy list!!!!
Also Maria Montez Alida Valli Jeanne Crain Deanna Durbin Maureen O'Hara Myrna Loy Jennifer Jones Linda Darnell Virna Lisi Anne Baxter Katryn Grayson Linda Christian Rhonda Fleming Silvana Mangano Marta Toren..
It is a pity these 50 astonishingly beautiful women have been numbered. Each in their own way were magnificent. To list them does them no justice. Who are we to decide who is the more beautiful?
Yes Barbara Stanwyck beautiful and soo talented and stayed Beautiful. Fontaine and Norma Shearer also get overlooked. Anna May Wong too She was soo good in the Bitter Tea of General Yen. Tierney and Leigh Monroe, Loren Hepburn and Garbo and Harlow, Stanwyck my favorites.
But what about Shirley MacLaine? Now I have reviewed the" Yellow rolls-Royce", and how great Shirley is there, paired with Alain Delon , who has one of the strongest and most lyrical roles in this film! Both are alive, God grant them health!
My list of the most beautiful women include: Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Brigitte Bardot, Olivia de Havilland, Vivien Leigh, Susan Hayward, Bette Davis, and Barbara Stanwyck.
Finally, a list that recognizes just how BEAUTIFUL Ginger Rogers was... she was early, so some of the cinemtography and photography was lousy, but even with that there are STUNNING pictures of her. On the screen, when she danced, when she smiled, so many flashes of great beauty... thanks. In so many lists Ginger is $20, if she makes the list at all.
My choices (not included in your list)....Greer Garson, Gail Russell, Maureen O'Hara, Deborah Kerr, Loretta Young, Anne Baxter, Jennifer Jones, Elizabeth Montgomery, Jane Wyman, Sandra Dee, Donna Reed & Leslie Caron. Thank you for sharing your list with us.
Also Virna Lisi Gina Lollobrigida Rhonda Fleming Deanna Durbin Alida Valli Ingrid Bergman Marta Toren Linda Darnell Maria Montez Silvana Mangano Yvonne De Carlo Katryn Grayson Linda Christian.
The video about the most handsome men & this one of the most beautiful women cannot be in order. There's no way that Lucille Ball would be rated as #49! She was a beautiful woman!! She definitely deserves more credit than that! Same thing with the men, many of them were left out, Dean Martin, Robert Redford & many many more! These videos were definitely just based on, personal preference.
What about Deborah Kerr, Pier Angeli, Natalie Wood, Lee Remick, Angie Dickinson, Ingrid Bergmann, Jennifer Jones, Maria Schell. These are more beautiful and talented than some on the list. I mean, Marilyn Monroe at #1. Not for talent, surely.
My top 10 in no particular order would be; Kelly, A.Hepburn, Oberon, Simmons, Crain, O'Hara, Gardner, Bergman, Reed, Shearer. Honorable mentions (Turner, Stanwyck, Bennett, Fontaine, Brooks).
No Natalie wood and Ingrid Bergman.. How old are yu..in your 30s...anyone who is old enough to have seen those foxes in movies would never overlook them
This ranking is about facial beauty frozen by photography. But beauty can be expressed through the whole body, in movement; and when fashions in looks or cosmetics change, it can transcend them. If the person's character and soul are beautiful, it will shine through. On both considerations- poetry in motion and the inner radiance of virtue- Eleanor Powell is my winner. I am glad that her glorious smile illustrates this upload.
For me the most 5 beautiful actresses of all time are, in order: 1) Ingrid Bergman 2) Audrey Hepburn 3) Grace Kelly 4) Vivien Leight 5) Claudia Cardinale
The old time actresses absolutely hammer most of the current Hollywood actresses (tarts) I think my top "modern" actress has to be Kim Cattrall, her first major part, the ORIGINAL Police Acadmy movie, I think that was either 82 or 84. I never tire of watching these "golden age" vids, it really shows true beauty
Arlene Dahl , Rhonda Fleming , Allison Hayes , Fay Wray , Joan Bennett , Linda Christian , Mari Blanchard , Mala Powers , Ruth Roman , Jeanne Carmen , Faith Domergue , Carolyn Jones , Mamie Van Doren , Tina Louise , Janet Leigh , Carroll Baker , Carol Landis and Julie Newmar , were all lovely too .
My top 30 1. Ava Gardner 2. Hedy Lamarr 3. Vivien Leigh 4. Grace Kelly 5. Greta Garbo 6. Jean Arthur 7. Merle Oberon 8. Zsa Zsa Gabor 9. Anita Eckberg 10. Miriam Hopkins 11. Elizabeth Allan 12. Ann Miller 13. Carole Lombard 14. Ginger Rogers 15. Marlene Dietrich 16. Ann Sheridan 17. Cláudia Cardinalle 18. Gina Lollobrigida 19. Anita Page 20. Verônica Lake 21. Kim Novak 22. Olivia De Havilland 23. Joan Fontaine 24. Jennifer Jones 25. Bette Davis 26. Rita Hayworth 27. Audrey Hapburn 28. Loretta Young 29. Jane Fonda 30. Ingrid Bergman
My Top 15 is 15. Joan Crawford 14. Bette Davis 13. Ginger Rogers 12. Judy Garland 11. Katharine Hepburn 10. Greta Garbo 9. Clara Bow 8. Elizabeth Taylor 7. Marlene Dietirch 6. Rita Hayworth 5. Marilyn Monore 4. Grace Kelly 3. Vivien Leigh 2. Ingrid Bergman 1. Audrey Hepburn
You would need a part 2-20 to do all the actresses justice you left out some I'm really surprised Linda Darnell didn't make this list I've seen her in lots of things like this lol but I'm a little bit biased about her she's my cousin my late grandpa's second cousin to be exact and I didn't come around till 83 but I grew up hearing about her. But you did a good list and all these ladies are beautiful in their own way and please excuse my lack of punctuation my eyesight stinks and you have a blessed day
Just found this so I'm a bit late to the party. Some of these I wouldn't personally have on the list but where are Ingrid Bergman and Paulette Goddard????
