Fun fact me and my mom wanted to ride splash mountain and we got first row during the fireworks right at the very last drop the ride stopped for fireworks so we ended up watching the fire works from one of the highest points in Disney it was magical
Potato. Snowflake I remember seeing Wishes from Splash Mountain years ago, it was magical. We didn’t stop at the top, but just that view of the fireworks as we came over that hill was AMAZING.
When I went to Disneyland, I was riding Matterhorn at night and right when I was boarding, the Electrical Parade started and I got to ride the ride while hearing the song and seeing all of the lights below. It was so amazing!!
When I was recovering from my ED (eating disorder), I would watch DFB snack and meal episodes and make it my goal to eat at least 2 snacks from one of their videos every time I went to Disney since I was at Disney at least twice a week. It really helped me!
Also recovering from an ED (anorexia) and I’m so proud of you! I’ve found that these videos have helped me be more open and confident about my food choices and talking about them :)
Fun fact: the utiladors are actually on the first floor, the actual park sits on the second and third and floor. This is because you can’t really dig down in Florida, because of the high water table
I have no plans to go to any Disney in many decades, as I am an 18 year old college student. But I watch all of these videos and will continue to. They are so relaxing and nice. :)
Im stuck in Australia and watch as many videos as I can when they pop up on my list! My parents took us when I was 17 which is literally a decade ago and I STILL remember and feel the entire experience!! Try and save a little every single week and dont touch it like a target and then I am sure you can go sooner than you think 🥰
I created a Disney account to plan my trip when I was 19. I didn’t actually go for my very first time until I was 32. Sad life. We have been planning to go again but pandemic struck. I regret not going sooner in my twenties because I missed out on a lot of older rides that no longer exist.
I didn't care about the fireworks when I went to Disney a couple years ago thinking they're just fireworks. Boy was I wrong! We just happened to still be in Magic Kingdom when they started so we stopped and watched. There's truly something magical about them and I 100% cried just like AJ said. Now I recommend it to anyone who's going.
Yea it’s not your typical July 4th fireworks. It’s music/song with coordinating fireworks and projections. I cried watching it on RU-vid prior to my trip in which I wished I hadn’t done that because I would have cried in Disney World instead.
I agree about the magical and heartwarming quality of Disney fireworks. I normally don't film fireworks, but I did during my last Magic Kingdom trip (November 2019). I'm glad that I listened to my intuition because that video has been a good way to feel Disney magic during the quarantine.
WDW Cast Members: Take the time to recognize exceptional Cast Members. If you are not a Twitter user or are not tech savvy, simply fill out a compliment card at guest relations or the front desk. Jot down their name and where they are from so you can fill it out on the card. For my family, the best memories almost always are the direct result of Disney World Cast Members doing something unexpected at just the right moment in time. There was a gardener at Animal Kingdom still working on one of the areas early in the morning. He noticed our daughter was smelling all of the flowers, so he snipped a nice flower, then brought it over and gave it to her. Another time at Pop Century in the food court, a cast member struck up a conversation with our daughter and then she ended up coloring character pages with her at a coloring table. Exceptional Cast Members really are the magic makers at WDW. Simple, unexpected moments of pure kindness are what have always made it a special place.
First time I met Mickey&Minnie was my first day in Disney. In the first 5 minutes! A CM told us to come meet Mickey bacause no one was in line (Animal Kingdom meet and greets are underrated!) and it was amazing!! The safari outfits were so cute, and because there was no one else there it was a really personal first interaction! Mickey even wrote a welcome to Disney message to me when I told him about my journey! Can’t wait to be back 🎉
OMG!! AJ!! That hidden Mickey on Mickey’s birthday!! How freaking cool is that!?! Disney is just.. so amazing. I can’t even. lol!! Thanks for sharing!! Love your content!! 💜💜💜
I did the Wild African Trek tour at Animal Kingdom. It was such a transformative experience. Anyone who likes hiking and animals is going to have an amazing experience. My favorite experience was eating in the savannah, feet away from dozens of wild animals.
On behalf of Walt Disney World, we hope you’ve enjoyed this unique journey through our living laboratories. If you’d like a closer look, then check out the Behind the Seeds walking tour. It’s a chance for the whole family to get up close and personal with the plants and growing techniques in our laboratory.
I've never been to any Disney parks but this video makes me so, so happy. When I go there (someday, hopefully) I'll DEFINITELY tackle that kitchen sink, do the mountain rides, buy souvenirs, eat classic snacks, attend the Epcot festivals, and meet the characters. The list goes on and on, but hey, I can dream right? Thanks for the video, AJ!
you can have a wonderful time at Disney without spending extra $$$ on unnecessary things like tours of the basement, after hours parties and very expensive dinners. We do spend on character meals and my daughter would like to do the behind the seeds tour. Just FYI as someone who has been there many times on a budget. It's magical even without all that.
The only thing I’d ever do for Disney would take the walk in walts footsteps tour. Other than that we never do expensive dinners but I wouldn’t mind the after hour parties
My family and I got up around 3 or 4 am to make our way to Hollywood Studios and get 6 boarding passes for Rise of the Resistance. It was completely worth it. My older sister who is 26 loved it, I am 19 and I loved it. My 12-year-old sister loved it. And my baby brother who is 7 absolutely loved it. Rise of the Resistance was a great ride and a good family ride. One of the best Disney rides to debut.
Carousel of Progress is my absolute favorite, my mom's too. I took her to on a 3 park jaunt in February and called before I booked to make sure it was open... a tip I got from you! This channel makes me so happy. And even though i know most of this stuff (grew up in south Florida and went to Disney twice a year for like 20 years) i never tire of hearing it. Thanks so much. This content is my go to when i need a pick me up.

Classics r a Must!!!! Especially if you have kids.
Aunt Susan is ALWAYS trying to tell me what to do!!! All these things!!! Although #8 didn’t exist when we went! All the more reason to go back! A quick tip: if you’re international bring your passport when getting a drink at resort bars! It’s not fun to wait 45 minutes for Trader Sams only to be told you have to go back to your room to get your passport to order a drink. An out of country ID isn’t enough. True story!
You are called into the managers office and you are very concerned, only to have them congratulate you and hand you the letter or card saying how good a job you did. Guests compliments are so cool and I truly appreciated them.

I've done Mtn Challenge before Mine train existed.
Ok, so # 32 is kind of a 'given', and on my Must-Do List; you HAVE to ride the People Mover- the ride is at least 9 minutes long, there is hardly any line (if any at all), and it's a nice relaxation going all over Tomorrowland & goes inside Space Mountain; LOVE IT!!! And I SO agree with #27- I absolutely ADORE the Dapper Dans- they are awsome; escpecially at Holiday time when they do their version of 'J-I-N-G-L-E Bells' with their bells! INCREDIBLE!!
I went on a behind the scenes tour in the Land Pavilion! It was incredible. We got to see a lot of the plants and greenhouses up close, learn about all the cool and inventive ways they take care of the plants there, and it was just incredibly fun. We went to Garden Grill after and I had a new appreciation for the food I ate there!
i hate watching these videos during covid, because it makes me realize how much i miss the parks, but your videos always make me smile and feel at home😊
"Your friends, your co-workers... and Aunt Susan." 😂 Edit: This video is my new favorite DFB Video because its really fun and helpful and it was posted on my birthday
One of my dreams...to stay in Disney until I'm sick of it then go back to the rest of the world. I have not done enough but I definitely second the day off!! 🤩
#51, eat your way around Epcot countries. We did it on our last trip, it was so much fun! Have to take at least a bite of what we bought!

I would add: definitely dine at Germany's Biergarten Restaurant in Epcot. A little pricey if you are with a large group, but really worth it if you are with your partner. The food selection is huge, and so are the desserts. You get to share your table with other people, which my wife and me thought would be uncomfortable, but meeting other families turned out to be a fun experience that we talk about to this day. Zicke zacke, zicke zacke, hoi hoi hoi!!
We were there a few weeks ago, and I wasn’t even thinking about the blue and green milk, but my husband said that we needed to try it. We bought one of each and I started on the blue, and he was trying the green, after a few minutes we traded, and we both liked the ones that we started with so we traded back. I know the one thing that many people say is great is to get an extra cup and layer them, and they are supposed to taste even better.
I’ve been going to Disney since 1977 and have been at least 20 times in my life. My daughter now works there is a cast member. I have done everything on this list except # 28 drinking the blue milk. I haven’t wanted to do this one but will put this on my list for my next time which is coming up in December 2020. I am a faithful follower of your blog, I love it!
Me and my mom are from Chile, we're going to visit WDW on january. I literally have watch ALL the videos of this channel. I CAN'T WAIT TO DO ALL OF THIS💜💜💜
I am AP in Disneyland, I have done these many times, except the ones that are exclusive experiences to Disney world....disney world is my dream and hopefully soon I will be able to enjoy it
Where I lived as a kid, the HOA held fireworks every single Halloween that my family went to every year. My town held its own fireworks every Canada Day which we went to every couple years. The nearest big city held fireworks on Canada Day that were bigger and grander and I went to at least twice. Needless to say, I was OVER fireworks. They all kinda look the same after a while. So the first time I went to Disneyland as a 10 year old, when my mom suggested we skip the fireworks so we could beat the crowds leaving the parks, I jumped on the excuse. I never went to the fireworks. Then as a 20 year old I went to Euro Disney as part of a short trip to France I took. I almost skipped the fireworks then, too. But one of the people I met there told me 'it's not really fireworks, it's more like a light show' and I figured eh, why not. I was there anyway. I nearly cried. It was breathtaking. Comparing what happened there to even the best fireworks show I've seen would be like comparing a comissioned drawing from an online artist to a Van Gogh. Both might be 'good art', but the scale and beauty defies comparison. I'm so sad I missed the show at Disneyland because I was convinced it was just fireworks. Now I'm planning a trip to Disneyworld. You better goddamn believe I'm going to be sticking around for the fireworks.
I'm going back for my 8th time in September, I'm from Northern Ireland and I go to Disney every few years. I clicked on this video without a second thought and I'm very glad I did!
When I was four years old I did a charcter meal and it was awesome. I don't remember which one it was but I do remember doing one and every time I go to Disney World I do get something to remember the trip because you have to.
I've done a lot of things you suggested but never sleeping in and ordering room services.... I always want to spend my time exploring the parks while I am there even when it's raining . ☔😁
I've actually already done Expedition Everest before I've ever done any of the other roller coaster rides in Disney World. Glad I've done it, but never again.
If ur scared of heights but are interested in soarin I recommend getting a seat where u can see others feet above you. That's what I always do. I have a terrible fear of heights but soarin is just so cool. So when I get a little freaked out I just look up at the feet and it'll take me out of the immersion just enough to calm me down :)
Being in the parks at magic kingdom when it rains. The rainy day parade is very unique and fun. Also hanging out at your hotel when the characters are there.Mickey pretzels, dole whip and pop corn in a fun refillable container.
One of my own weird Disney must-dos for every trip is to... watch the Disney must-dos... In the resort hotels they have a bunch of glorified Disney world ads on the TVs and my family would always play the Disney World must-dos segment on repeat. Even though we already had everything planned and the show never really changed any of our plans even slightly, it just got us in the Disney mood and brought a little magic to the start of each day :)
Spaceship Earth was my favorite ride when i went in 2014 as a younger kiddo :) It was super relaxing after a long day of walking around Epcot and the artificial stars were beautiful! I made us ride it twice!
The Not so Poison Apple Cupcake is not at the Main Street Bakery this year. We were there yesterday and asked a cast member and they told us they have not received them this year. Asked at guest services and it turns out they moved it to Pinocchio’s restaurant for some reason.
One of my trips to WDW was winter break 8th grade year shortly after reading Tom Sawyer. I will say, visiting the island after reading the book was SO COOL to see how it really came to life.
Oh for the Behind the Scenes stuff for Disney History lovers...there's one in DCA in California at Carthay Circle. It's supposed to be really cool about classic old-school Disney (Snow White, creation of Mickey Mouse) and Walt Disney himself. Not sure if it's running now, but cool to check out.
I didn't realize it at the time, but my trip to the Magic Kingdom played a huge roll in helping me battle my severe social anxiety. I was maybe about 12 or 13, and my mom and brother were too tired to stay for extra magic hours at the Kingdom. I was really set on staying, though. Its Disney, when am I ever gonna get a chance like this again?? So, I told my anxiety to stuff it and wound up staying for the rest of extra magic hours and wound up returning to my hotel at like 2 am lol. I was really proud of myself for even being brave enough to stay by myself, and I would tell myself, "if I can do that, I can do this!"
Riding Big Thunder Mountain during the fireworks is a surreal experience. I don't do well with loud noises/fireworks so its a nice distraction. But when I do watch fireworks, I always watch from Main Street and they make me cry. I don't know why but they make me emotional
I got there for rope drop once by accident (I thought it had been open for an hour already) and the other guests there are MEAN! I don't bust in the line but I swear I could have hung from a cloud and been told off for cutting in front of anyone. I finally went back and waited for the buses and let the creatures go in first. If you plan on going for rope drop, maybe treat yourself to a root canal before it, you'll thank yourself.
I am planning a trip next year... I am going to be tweeting a lot... Looking back at my past jobs, it was always nice to get recomized for your efforts.
If you do video requests, I would love to see a video dedicated to #25, skipping the rides. As someone who can get motion sick from a rocking chair, I'm often questioning if a trip is worth it for me. I don't want to just sit around, especially if the rest of my party is riding all day.
I hear ya! My mother and I get super bad motion sickness. I love Disney Parks so much because there are actually rides I can ride! I took my mom to WDW last November. We watched videos on RU-vid of the specific rides, so she could see if she thought she could ride them. Small World, Peter Pan, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Little Mermaid Ride, Toy Story Mania, Soarin', Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Frozen and Animal Safari, just to name a few. There are lots of great shows in the park, like the Tiki Room, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Castle Shows, Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular. Lots of great entertainment: The Dapper Dans, fireworks, parades and character meet and greets. Of course delicious dining options as well. Watch some rides and see what you think but I don't think you will feel there is nothing you can ride.
@@lilflower5 thanks for the tips! My daughter is only 9 weeks old but her aunt is already planning her Disney trip since we never got to go as kids. It's just been getting me thinking... The problem is my motion sickness varies greatly. We grew up near a Great America and there were some visits where I could ride almost anything and other times where getting in an elevator caused me to have to go try to sleep it off in the parking lot.
There are so many shows and walking around I think this would be a good idea. I’ve actually done a half day without going on rides because it was really busy, but there was enough to see I wasn’t bored
I have found that the motion sickness rides aren't nearly as bad at Disney as compared to Universal. If you have a problem with it I would recommend staying away from Mission Space (known for making people sick) and Expedition Everest (because it goes backwards in the dark).
i've only been to WDW once - when I was about 6 (i've been to other disney resorts since) - and i'm amazed that i've done 26 of the ones on the list! kudos to my mum and dad for planning it so well, even if i was too young to fully appreciate that at the time
I so wanna try this. I’ve only been to Disneyland once in my whole life. I’m super curious about what’s changed from the last time I went there. Even if I don’t remember much minus the electrical parade and meeting my fav Pupper Pluto.
Back in February I managed to do every ride at the Magic Kingdom save for Splash Mountain (was closed for referb) in a single day, and managed to ride Thunder Mountain during the fireworks.
There is no vacation destination anywhere on Earth that is more accepting of and helpful to the disabled. Of course it is always better with friend(s) and/or family, disabled or not. Look into it!
I am disabled and must stay in a wheelchair. Disney World is the one place I can go and feel normal, enjoy myself and forget my troubles. Totally my happy place! My Husband is always with me, as are other family members at times. We have made such wonderful memories. Disney is very accommodating no matter what your disability. Do not miss out Jasmine! ❤️
@@petro0889 maybe one day. Honestly I think my physical disability would be easier to handle then my mental health disability. I try so hard to enjoy life but when you have fear of crowds and loud sounds and episodes of losing time its so hard to even go to the store. Maybe one day I will make it to Disney
