superb.. if anyone gets a camera failed message... turn off smart stay feature in settings (smart stay is the phone setting that won't turn off your screen if you are facing the front camera screen) 👍 thanks to trusted reviews for this tip as I had that message yesterday. 💿

Recently, picked up my very first smartphone; used Galaxy s7. Wanted to take good, quick photos without hauling my camera in my purse. All very confusing to this dum dum. Landed here to find some tips. Good video. The volume is loud enough. Your voice is pleasant, and distinct. Easy to follow steps. Have many other questions. Trying to figure it all out. Very nicely done. I learned so much. Keep updating more tips. Especially interested in learning why it is so difficult for the Galaxy S7 edge to be recognized by my PC when plugged in. I've had to go to Verizon twice because the settings continue reverting back to charging instead of constantly going into developer options. Very annoying especially since my $60 TracFone was easily recognized by the PC as another drive.

For some reason, my settings menu doesn't look like yours. Mine is a long list, not separate tabs. So I can't find some of the feature you're describing.
+Shanny Luft That's called the "list view". I have the "tab view". The reason they are different is because I have an AT&T S7 while you probably have another carrier. It sucks that we don't have the option to toggle between the two like we used to.
+sakitech I have an international unlocked one and still, no option to toggle, i'm stuck with the list view... and also, the touch key light duration is no longer on settings, do you know why?
Under "Notifications" ,if I turn off the apps,will I still get app updates from the apps I turn off? Also, by turning off the apps,will it help to save my phone battery life? I love your videos and find them very helpful.Thank you!

Awesome video. My s7 edge has some features I didn't even know about. Still issues with my"Always on", and clocks.... But I'll get it. As well as too many calendars.
This is one of the best tutorials I have seen. My question is that my phone for some reason doesn't have that MODE button on the camera screen. Also when you go to settings / system to deal with battery, mine doesn't have the cool battery info your's does???
strange thing I've noticed, alot of the s7 variants have different settings, for instances my T-Mobile variant does not allow me to change the duration of the touch keys

Why can they not add a feature to not allow you to turn the device off when locked. Must be unlocked to turn off device. So i can track it and find it if its stolen...
is there any way i can have the games tool icon for normal use. i used to have a xperia and i really want a screen record feature and a screenshot feature
At 9:30, you talked about the ability to change the light settings for the touch keys at the bottom of the phone. It looks like the Verizon version of the S7 removed that feature! I've searched everywhere for the settings, & don't see them anywhere. My setup is also different than yours. Bummer...
I recently purchased a Galaxy S7.. Thanks for your review.. But I have noticed that my screen locks up, 5-10 times a day.. Very annoying... Any advice on what could be causing this?? I looked on the internet and cleared out the unused apps and also my cache data.. But it is still happening.. I also did a factory reset. I am thinking that I will need to contact my cell phone provider, since that is who I purchased the phone from. . . . .
I wish samsung would add a security for the power button if incase the phone got stolen, the first thing the thief would do is use the power button and power off the device easily before you can even track it. great job on the video. thanks
is there any particular compatible sd card for the s7 edge?i found just recently that my kingston sd card causes my phone to freeze up so much it was effin irritating. when i ditched out of the tray, my s7edge worked went back to being good as new... pls help!
