It is a flight simulator made in the West meant for western audience. All sources of information circualted around the world about russian hardware come from the West. It has always been biased. What have we been hearing in the first year of the war in Ukraine? That Russia is poorly equipped. They are running out of missiles, their vintage military hardware is no match for the West; they use shovels and washing machines to fight the NATO trained and equipped Ukranian army. But we see now the results. NATO's war against Russia lead by the US has been a disaster and is about to be defeated. Ukraine army is collapsing. What we have witnessed in the past two years is, that the much touted superiority of american and western military hardware, is a myth. In fact many of the russian weapons are superior to western counterparts, particularly the missile technology, drones and jamming. We have seen Leopards, Challengers, Abrams, Himars, Patriots destroyed by the russian ground forces and the airforce. There is an exhibition of captured and destroyed western armored vehicles in Moscow opened for public and available on RU-vid. It includes the Leopard and a badly smashed Abrams. A sort of victory dance of the russians.The myth parroted for decades about the superiority of western weapons was done by Hollywood and all sorts of no-nothings payed to spew this non-sense (it is a very lucrative bussiness). To go even further into this is the combined arms doctrine, tactics, strategy and operations and the military industry, in which Russia excels at. This is a very lengthy subject. There are some people describing this vast subject like Scott Ritter, Brian Berletic, Jacques Baud and others. Ritter is a former major in the US army which became a UN weapons inspector and Baud is a retired colonel in the Swiss army. For all those who wonder what would happen if F-22 and F-35 would be sent to Russia. The minute they enter the russian air space, and most likely even before that, they will be seen by the ground radars of the S-300, S400 and S550; by AWACS, by the jet fighters themselves (the MIG-31 can relay targets by data link) and satellites. Radar beams are going to shower from all directions and angles. This means that the american stealth fighters will be swatted like flies.

It's the most accurate air to air simulator we can have right now. Many external parameters are not taken into account such as military strategy and the human factor. But from fire power of the aircraft it's quite accurate.

Because is has super maneuverability on paper because of over inflated Russian propaganda. Simple fact is Russia has one ever achieved air superiority once, in Afghanistan because they didn’t have aircraft. If this simulation was accurate all 50 F35s would have made it back and the SU would have had no idea why all his buddies were exploding

Because super maneuverability is great for air shows but not so much for real combat. All those fancy things seen in air shows are done at very low speeds. Real combat happens at a much higher speed. All those fancy air show maneuvers in combat would only make the SU30 an easy target for the F-35. Slow speed in combat = dead aircraft. Also pilot training is one of the most important factors when it comes to things like this. American pilots are the best trained pilots in the world and are taught how to defeat more maneuverable adversaries. Russian pilots don't get no where near the same amount of training therefore are inferior. Lastly, the F-35 is a much more capable dog fighter then most people realize. That is how it lost.

Because it’s a game and also because of the missiles he put into the jets, You have to do this in a editor and he purposefully put prototype r77 instead of the r77-1

It also seems to me like he lowered the ai pilot skill of the su30

@@phieag1982 they are, its an export aircraft even owned by Uganda and I think all f35s wouldn't make it back ad some su30s would, just because of the manoeuvrability factor. but in real life, the f35 would not be used in dogfighting but probably hitting high value targets like SAMs from long range, don't think this battle would happen

Funny how people think it is plane vs plane. The pilot and his experience and training are just as important as the aircraft are. American pilots are the best trained pilots in the world and are trained how to defeat a more maneuverable adversary. Russian pilots don't get the same kind of training. They don't get even close to the same amount of flight time nor how realistic the training is. Hopefully you can see how foolish your comment is. The rest of us can. hahhahahah

The F-35 stands a pretty good chance against the SU30 in a dog fight. A dog fight most likely would never happen for real because the F-35 would have already killed it before they got close enough to see each other. You have to take into consideration the pilot as well as the aircraft. American pilots are the best trained pilots in the world and are taught how to defeat a more maneuverable fighter. They also have much, much more time training in the most realistic training on the planet than Russian pilots. People should really start educating themselves before they pop off and embarrass themselves.

F-35 would lose in a sustained turning fight but when armed with an aim 9x a, helmet queuing and its super high instantaneous turn rate, it will hold its own against the su-30
