Dont tell the blendettes I can see where they are. It's so satisfying pulling a survivor out of a locker after seeing a doctor aura looking at the locker or not hearing a scream when whispers is on.

The Doctor is one of my more favorite killers to play with. I like his ability to delay and find survivors early in the match, because that’s one thing I have trouble doing due to my poor eyesight.

Doctor has slowly become one of my top 3 favorite killers to play, and my absolute least favorite to go against. He has a free survivor radar. He has off-chase gen pressure with madness. He has off-camping hook pressure with static blast. He can interrupt vaults and pallet drops. He can mind game really well with that threat. And that's all without perks or add-ons. In the right hands, Doctor is probably the single most annoying killer to face. He's not the strongest in terms of anything, really, but he's phenomenal at whittling down the sanity of the survivor... literally... hence the disconnects.

I can't wait for the DbD finale, a 2 day long video where Otz rewrites the code and rebalances the game from the ground up.

Honestly, Doctor is my favorite killer to play. His power gives you so much control and can really be used to "herd" the survivors, it feels very satisfying

Ah, my favorite killer to play, and the most fun when someone doesn't know how the power works. Seeing the same survivor try to drop a pallet after being shocked and get downed multiple times a match is cathartic levels of madness.

I honestly love running Whispers with The Doctor. Any time you see it light up you know your static blast will almost always hit so they can never escape from you by the end of the game.

Just wanted to say Otz, I've been a Doctor main for as long as I can remember, since I started playing Dead by Daylight, and I believe I have grown quite adept at his play style, since I've been rank 1 with him for a very long time (Even though rank doesn't mean much nowadays) and have well over 500 or so hours in Doctor alone, you did very well in the matches you played. I joined the streams occasionally to see how you were doing and I must say, you were playing Doc pretty well. I personally have no opposition to the way you play Doctor, but I play quite differently, and I know that you can't use add-ons, and that may be the reason why I have so much success, but having Distressing and Both high tier Calms are insanely powerful, at least in my opinion. That being said, amazing work as always. Thank you for giving me a years worth of entertainment (That's when I found you :D).

39:09 actually, there is 1 perk that does affect the noise you make while on the ground: No Mither reduces the noise by 50% amd is the only perk that does so in dying state. But you can tell when someone has No Mither, since they'll be broken the whole match, none of them were broken, so it was definitely the bug

There's like 2 main reasons I disconnect against doctors, 1. They all run the same 2 item builds, double calm or both chess pieces, double calm is just kinda annoying to hear a heartbeat the entire game, unless he blasts and gives everyone madness 1 immediately, then he's basically a ghost, but the chess pieces are so annoying purely because of all the visual effects they inflict, it's a long list. And 2. I don't wanna hear screaming in my ears every 3 seconds, and the visual effects on madness (an affliction you can never really get rid of) really hurt my eyes, I've heard this same complaint from friends and other people, a 20 minute match gave a friend of mine a horrible migraine from the visual effects alone, I get what his power is but it shouldn't affect the actual player in a negative manner, the visual effects really need to be toned down in some way P.S. if you're reading this, sorry if it sounds like I'm complaining, while I do dislike the doctors power I'm not trying to complain, just stating some actual issues with it

Personally I like doctor however playing survivor at purpish ranks (sometimes green sometimes red) I think doctor freddy and bubba played by competent killers is awful for survivor side, especially with the tradgedy of solo queing. At high levels these killers are fine but lower levels its harder and harder, so I wonder could you make a guide on how to deal with these harder killers at lower levels? jeez otz was not lying about the disconnect part. this video really made me wanna get into doctor so i played my first game of him today and i brought whispers to help me with my power. i used the blast while whispers was up and nothing happened so i looked in the basement that was right next to me and as soon as i checked the back locker someone in the locker behind me jumped out and ran. i caught and downed him and he instantly DCed. First game of doctor i think im gonna like it here.

The shock therapy debuff is crazy. I'm in copper rank (I recently picked up the game) but I go against red ranks a lot. About half of them know to pre-drop pallets.

I USED TO find Doctor to be the most frustrating killer to face. NOW, that I run Calm Spirit, I like playing him much more. However, when I started this, the therapy shock would NOT make me scream AND also would NOT increase madness AND I could still throw pallets/perform actions. I now believe this was a glitch that has since been fixed. The only way I would gain madness was from the AOE shock(static blast). More recently, I only dont scream when using Calm Spirit. The build up of madness and the "silence"/unable to perfor action, part of shock therapy now effects me.

As a Rank 1 Doctor with 2.3k hours in him alone, you described him very well. You should mention that you should not rely on madness AT ALL for winning a game. Your shock therapy is the real kicker.

You're right about Badham, it's always been my favorite map cause it's just so safe as survivor and especially nasty when you run lithe. Plus it's my best map cause I know the layout, it has four completely safe buildings as survivor: shack, school, two story with the car pallet, and basement house so the kill rate thing isn't too surprising.
