yeah i mean there's plenty of inexperienced players on PVP servers and usually the more experienced players will ease up on you once they realize you are new
70 fov is a game changer. It even feels nice to go out further and zoom in a bit.. I think long form videos like this are best to pick up on weapon combos that are commonly used by players. If it was just a clips I may not have picked up on how you use the crossbow slow really well for poke and the mist trance is interesting since you are left without a cool down after a bow/gs combo (so I’m dropping the longbow to see if I vibe with it) I usually axe into gs but I’m open world bow seems like it could be more consistent.. ggs thanks for sharing

@@NineLives9 lol yeah well I didn’t get the opportunity to get used to the fov so it is what it is.. yeah I’ve been running cold snap and blood rage may dabble into chaos dash and power surge. I’m a bit of a hipster gamer so I probably won’t touch discharge however
Good vid. Would be interested to see your keyboard layout/settings. Review on combos, gem requirements and setups etc. What do you have bound for camera, your cursor isn't showing, or is it just the video?
Thanks dude, I just use right click to rotate camera and yeah it's just recording that hides cursor for some reason. I will likely make a PvP guide type video at some point also covering my preference on all that type of shit
Amazing vid. I'm wondering about the better weapon combos. I see that you often use the xbow e+gs q combo or the other way around, and not so much the axe e. Seems like the axe E is pretty similar to the xbow e and can be used in the same situations. Any thoughts from your much wider experience?
Yeah, the axe E is just very slow and very easy to avoid or counter, but if you have a setup then it's the better option for damage for sure, I just like how quick the crossbow E comes out, gives fading snare and interrupts
I just like them, I certainly don't think mist trance is the best counter, cold snap and discharge are both better, but I just have always liked that spell and blood rage is actually good now, very nice utility and great for melee heavy weapon swapping play style
Anything that would take multiple button presses can be set to do all things in one button press. Meaning I could press an ability move left and do a normal attack while also popping a heal and dodging.
@@victoriaprew8064 but macro or no macro you gotta stand still to pop a potion.. also the normal keylayout for v rising is already super full (8 weapons, 5 ability, wasd, cancel, prob missed some more). if you wanted to macro your combos you logically need way more than those buttons because you can combine them in any order + where do those buttons go? obv you want to keep the normal setup so you can still use the weapons without macro... i just dont see this working
@@LEWIStheRED360I prefer blood rage, it's more of a utility with the heal, move speed, ATK speed, cleanse and barrier than power surge and it can also buff nearby team mates

It's just preference, you can try it out and if it feels comfortable then sure. Not many people are going to find "N" to be a comfortable bind for a weapon though
No disrespect to you, but the first two dudes were complete dog water. No idea why they were being so passive and just standing around half of the fight trying to line up skill shots. Hardly any autos mixed in, missing their weapon abilities and spells repeatedly, and popping their counters when you hadn't even telegraphed an animation in their direction. If one of them had a working brain, that 2v1 would have been over a lot sooner.
they should try using discharge and void or mosquito with 100% scholar like the rest of the top tier gamers that play this game then they stand a fighting chance
Oh yeah 100% they were absolutely terrible, that's why my duo didn't jump in on the fight and it's also why I just started autoing only. I spoke to these dudes again since, they are cool dude, I think they just aren't great and were saying the "macro" thing as a cope
@@NineLives9 I'm new to the game as of 3 weeks ago and I still laughed out loud when the one guy said you were using macros. They were laying the copium on thick.
@@kuroketsueki9059 mist trance I use fear and CDR on Q and bloodrage I honestly just use whatever I can get, for bloodrite I like invis while immaterial. Other than that I'm easy,jewels I have on in most these clips are tier 2 and not great
why you use cheesy build? Fight like a real man.. with your spells, use a real build like void and discharge, you just use blood rage and greatsword to run away like waldo did
@@Khnoser oh right, my graphics are all on low and have everything untucked except rim light and blood effects enabled. I also changed my fov to 70 in the console
no offense buddy but in the end its a game without ranking mode u just title this video 500 Hours PVP Experience u dont need to trash talking them or use macro to just play properly but most of the guys dont know about move and abilites also 1.0 is like not even month while u just master the game in early acces, since u are most expiernced u can teach someone how to play pvp instead being a dik and expect only early acces players to dance with you in the end fights was really good
Every person I fight in this video I get a long with great, have helped them improve at PvP, helped them with bosses, given them gear and loot. I'm Australian, a bit of banter in PvP games is very standard in Australia. People think too far into this cause of what the clips. But I understand why you might think this, appreciate the comment anyway dude, hope you enjoyed the fights nonetheless

Yeah even the dudes that accused me of macroing I've spoken to a lot since, they actually watch my videos and enjoy them and I've helped them with a few different things this wipe, a part of my shit talk when playing is provoke people into wanting to fight me also, cause so many people want to be friendly or run away and of course I play the game to just PvP and get better myself
I'm Australian, it's very standard Aussie banter. It's also very tame compared to other games. A lot of these players I have spoken to out of fights and are chill easy going dudes, we get along well. You are thinking too far into it my friend
