Also..he came into the dining room Where I was playing The manager Said to mem.he may request a quiet dinner!! But He just sat at a table in front of me..ate his his food and paused to say thanks as he left I of course thought my head would explode and l would fall on the floor..but Actually It was easier to play with him in the vicinity Finally he and l briefly spoke in a hallway and he talked about constantly recording ideas and his choices for capturing that. By the way everytimenl saw him walking around he had his laptop..except dinner Oh he did say he thought Stevie Wonder was the most creative keyboardist and he like Scriabin and was working on his music Thanks for asking

They definitely did get more rock-ish with the second RTF unit. At the same time, it's notable that the first unit didn't use swing 8ths. They used straight 8th notes at a time when young people wanted to hear that. The amazing thing is that they managed to do this without "selling out," because of the jazz and Latin connections.

@@rondrotoskeyboardimprov9453 Well yes, I suppose, for the most part. But La Fiesta and Clarke's title-track from the second album use jazz-quavers extensively! As do certain tracks from bootleg recordings of live performances I have been lucky enough to obtain of the original RTF unit.
