Sure, though I am a bit late. Recording because he wants views, which gives him more money to do more things like this. Bodyguard because he is carrying around cash, that if someone wanted, they could just rob him blind if he is by himself. It's mainly a deterrent. As for the security guard, each guard has what is called a patrol duty. Sometimes SOME guards do not follow this and get a hair up their ass when they are not supposed to. They think they can enforce laws in public, when that is not their job. In fact, it is illegal for a security guard to do so, unless the client and (the guard's company) have a contract that legally states they can. (Which most do not) @@helen7635

As a security guard, I can say that we don't give a shit about people filming. The only reason we go and tell ya'll the you can't do videos in here, is because our client tells us that they don't want it. In this case, whoever owns the mall. So it doesn't really matter how much you argue with security, we can't leave until we have done our job. So the only time you're wasting is your own. And if you're truly just doing this to do good, then why is it so important for you to be filmed?

Saying, “Shake my hand…” is an offering of peace and friendship. It started many centuries ago as a way to show other tribes, people, cultures etc. that you have no weapons and come to meet in peace. Also for that security guard, it's not that your giving out money, it's that you're filming in the mall, which is common in most indoor public places as some of the public might not want to be filmed. You're also not considering the fact that he is just doing his job to get paid in order to make a living, he has no problem you giving money, but filming it and putting it on youtube is, he has to follow the rules in order to keep his job. If you go into someone's house and do something that they don't want you to do, and they tell you not to do it, then you deserve to be removed. It's the same principle at a mall. Furthermore the mall has every right to record you without express concent because it's their private property thats open to the general public, not public property. You, being on their property, gives them permission to record you. But it does not give you permission to make tictok videos and disrupt other shoppers.
