They are such amazing cars, especially if set up properly. Unforchunatly I sold this car comming up on 2 years ago. I'm still in contact with the owner and will probably buy it back sometime soon.

Sorry for the belated reply. The 416 stroker bottom end was about $7000 and all the other engine stuff would be around another 4-5k for just the parts. This doesn't include suspension, brakes, exhaust etc

Unfortunately I sold the car about a year ago. I have been seeing a brazen orange GTO around lately, saw it once at Hampton Beach, again in Seabrook. I have an M3 now, I do really regret selling the GTO tho, was such a nice ride.

GTO, Mopars are nice but a dime a dozen here in TX at least. Meanwhile, there is only a finite number of GTOs and Trans Am due to Pontiac being killed off. It's great having a good car that you know you're never going to have to worry about it's newer version being "better." Just my $0.02 from a TA owner and former 72 Challenger owner. Happy shopping!

I have this exact car but bone stock, 18 inch wheels and Tremec manual 6 speed. Never molested or abused with 14k original miles. Near perfect (I mean really, what's perfect) condition. A garaged time capsule stunner. Brazen orange is THE color to have for the late model G.T.O. in my opinion. I want to sell it because I don't get much enjoyment owning it anymore. Afraid of getting door dings, scratches, etc. 31.7k takes it home.

I am beyond obsessed with the late model GTO's and I definitely agree with you that brazen orange is the color for these cars. I really regret selling this one, it was my pride and joy that I had so much money into but I sold it to get funding for my online business. Its getting harder and harder to find low mileage examples in colors like BOM,SRM, and IBM, if I were you id just hold on to it and drive it occasionally and get some joy out of it

@@akidnamedsage I understand my 05 Mustang loves paint chips. Now I refuse to take it on the interstate because of Container Trucks, Woodchip Trucks, and just plain roughed up interstate. Beautiful GTO, General Motors never gave it a chance.

@@gregkistner1955 no way not even 4000 miles 🤯 that’s a keeper would love to see one in almost new condition like that. I live in Scotland and have an 06 monaro ls1 absolutely love it. I’ve just hit 50,000 which I thought was good. It’s getting tough to keep on the road here though. And the horrible weather is taking it’s toll. Im not letting this go to waste though what ever it needs every M,O,T it gets then a little bit more. Times would need to get real tough before I ever thought of selling up.

@@akidnamedsage did you keep the little neck down area in the competition series where they bolt to the mid pipes. I nodded mine to a 3". I don't know why Magnaflow did that.
