Today I took my 501WHP MKV Supra out for a cruise, I just got rid of my old rear tires that were giving me some issues and picked up some Falken Azenis RT660s and they are leaps and bounds better for the car, super happy with my purchase.
For anyone wondering what I have done to my car here is the video explaining all that

thanks boss I appreciate it. Yeah I highly recommend these RT660's now, been driving on them for about a couple weeks and they are fantastic. You still got the M4?

I've been a fan of Falken for a long time. Glad to hear they are working so far. My only con with prior sets on different vehicles was that Falkens can sometimes often lose air randomly. Maybe it was just my experience with their tires in the past

Honestly haven’t heard that but thanks man these things are awesome in comparison to the pilots / mickeys I had previously. Hopefully I don’t deal with that at all

You mention stiffer sidewalls and stability, would runflats be even better in that regard? My ZR1 is on PSS ZPs and apparently the engineers specifically chose runflats as they got more consistent laptimes PS2 ZP to PS2. Obviously those are long gone and the PSS is on the way out, and no PS4S for my rear sizes. I wonder if it still applies.

Mind me asking for an update on this? Still happy with the RT660’s and also, factory wheels? What sizes you running? I’m considering 295 rear and 275 fronts in this tire on the factory 2021 wheel. I’m on 15mm rear and 13mm front spacers as well. Thoughts?

you have a pretty similar setup to me since I got factory 19s as well. I have a 255/35/19 up front and a 305/30/19 in the rear and with the spacers it clears. I think you can get away with a 275 up front if you want to with no rubbing. I really enjoy my tires and would really only switch them out for something more grippy when the car makes more power

So the mickeys were too soft/bouncy? And were you driving with tc off?

Yeah they were terrible for stability. Like you just have an incredibly floaty feeling in your steering and you completely lose the weighted feeling in your steering wheel. You can essentially jiggle it back n forth no issue no matter how fast ur going. Hard pass on those unless you wanna make a drag car with some welds wheels or something

I respect the honesty haha but I think you would be able to handle it as long as you got the proper setup (tires etc) to put down the power

I’m going with my buddy to his friends shop and it was supposed to be this week but he blew up his rear diff over the weekend on the drag strip so waiting on that to come in. My guess is I’ll be re dyno’d within the next week or two
