Aw man after all your hard work running round buying the cards for our entertainment and you end up down 310 quid ...unlucky Paul but still makes awesome viewing..cheers
Ouch! Unlucky, But it was great to watch. Had fingers crossed for you throughout. Plus that £800 hotpicks win came in handy to cover the video anyway. Keep up the good work.
Just looked at some comments, wow! Is it possible to watch a video for the entertainment intended? Why are some people compelled to commenting nonsensical sentences? If you don't fully understand the videos intention, then don't make an ass of yourself! He obviously did fifty shops to add the element of uniqueness. RU-vid is flooded with the same boring formats, I genuinely believe he knew he would get a smaller return this way, but by the same token by increasing the risk, you also increase the anticipation. For those of you who have limited vocabulary feel free to dislike, use profanity or poor grammar, but to be perfectly honest I doubt you made it this far and most probably stopped reading when the word, "nonsensical" was used!
Considering the risk of 50 different cards from 50 different shops thats better then i thought you would get considering how bad the game store scratchcards are now. Great Video really enjoyed it thanks for all the effort you went to for making it and congrats on the 50k subs.
The worst you get with a 'win' is your money back. The Euro-Millions is giving out £2.40 for two numbers on a ticket that costs £2.50 (and people still play it!!!!!!!).Soon a 'win' will just be a smiley face with the words "Thank you for your contribution".
Angel Mcfadden I work in Wilko and the amount of people who play Euromillions only to get less money than they originally spent... then they say to me 'at least it's something!' :/
That really put it into perspective for me today. 50... yes 50! of the highest risk scratchcard out there, and the biggest win on those was £25. That is terrible
So sorry it was that much of a loss but do you know what fair play for the effort you put into the vids showing where there brought from etc...hoping you hit it big soon :-D
If I'm being honest, you probably should have gone for 2 and a half packs if you were thinking of spending upto £500 like that, on average you would have got £100 back from a full pack so you would have probably got at least £200 back easily, and possibly a bit more too, but saying that, I applaud you for taking the risk as it could have actually payed off big time, but still could have turned into a lot worse, just shows how random scratchcards really are now. Brilliant video though, enjoyed it a lot, you get a thumbs up from me as usual :)
You should of done £501 of the £3 bingo scratch cards would of been a 36 hour video 😂 but unlucky mate that has put me right off £10 scratch cards now. Keep up the good work love watching all your videos 👍
Nice haul mate. I'm planning a £2000 splurge this friday. Hopefully get a few very smelly chicken dinners in the mix. Great film hope you keep making them mate. Heyneke
You have a better chance of hitting all 5 number plus the power-ball in the lottery than you do to win zero back on 50 scratchers. They have guaranteed payouts, that's part of the allure. It would have been better for you to have bought 10 tickets at a time from 5 different stores IMO.
I tried to follow the up/down value.... when it came to the advert you were 200 down n after that I lost it a little, but I believe that when you got to when the camera ran out of memory or shut off etc , you were at 240 loss. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong! lol
personally myself no way would i have bought 1 from each shop, even if u found a big win, i would have rather got 2 full packs and then 10 from 10 random shops, but thats your choice great video tho maybe next time you win big
A man that knows on average a pack of £10 cards have around 14-16 losing cards go out and buy 1 card from each shop. I could only dream of doing something like this but i would buy 4 or 5 cards per shop to keep true to the 1 in 3 odds. To buy one card from each shop is just mad as you are far more likely to hit losing cards. You are very lucky to get what you did. Great watch but please start looking at the odds more.
That's just put me off scratch cards for good ! I won 100 quid on one of those cards I'm shocked how little were winners. Great vid tho mate you got big balls !
Love these videos! I used to do the same often buying £1,000 worth of £10 scratchcards at a time. Ironically I won £1,000 from just one scratchcard that I bought randomly in a shop in Kent and won 2 x £500 on the Santa's Millions scratchcard in Dec 2017. Good luck to you.
One good thing about watching these scratch-card video,s. I have often been queuing up at shop check-outs watching as people buy these cards and thinking, shall I get one ? Now I know - leave well alone and keep hold of my hard earned cash !! lol.
Awww mate so Gutted for ya :( but really well done tho fella on 50k subs and good on ya for doin such a big vid knowin full well u could lose so much money fair play
Still, it could have been a whole lot worse. I was hoping you'd hit something good, but those new black ones are pretty bad. The old ones were way better.
Well what can I say mate? Absolutely gutted for you! You give so much to your subscribers day in and day out and you spend a fortune doing it! You deserve a massive win some day in the future! Glad to see you got over 1000 thumbs up though...shows the appreciation we all have for the videos you produce for us! You're a legend Paul and that's something the National Lottery can't take away from you! All the best mate! Thanks for the videos :) and congrats on the 50,000 Subscribers!
Possibly the biggest (£s) UK scratch card video on RU-vid. That was an awesome video. Can't help but wonder if 2 and half packs would've been better as you usually get half your money back. Either way Fk it. 50,000 subs. Woooooop. Fist pumps all round 👊🏻👊🏻
Ive been a sub for a long time, that was 1 of the best vids I've seen. 50k subs CONGRATS. Everyone here is saying "you should've done packs" I disagree fellow subs, Paul puts the effort in to upload a vid he thinks us viewers will enjoy. I enjoyed just not the outcome
Perhaps next time you should ask us 'your subs' to choose what you do. I personally would've recommended replaying every single game you created and played to establish what cards to get and the amount it tied up to be.
