I'm glad you two took time with the first born now onto the next we need more little workers to fix these sailboats 😂😂😂.

We've been following you forever (under a different name as well as this one), and I'm so frickin' happy you gave an update! Congratulations on your son Harry, your new boat, and upcoming adventures. Out of curiosity, how far are you from R.I? Hubby and I have purchased a new to us sailboat (1979 Island Trader?Transworld/Formossa) that we will be bringing over to Nova Scotia in a few weeks- since we're already driving out there for this, thought if we were nearby we could say a hello!

@RiggingDoctor 40 day passage, including two depressions, cyclone Don and the Azores High. We sailed at the wrong time of year, perhaps next time leaving Bahamas May 10 to 15.

When my firstborn came I had just finished a large contract and had been paid. I took the next 6 months off with my new baby and my wife, luckiest guy alive at the time. Take your time. We can wait.

What a great organization, Ocean Cleanup. They deserve much more support from plastic producing product countries, as this is going to be ongoing problem. So glad to see you back and looking forward to future content. Congratulations on your new crewmember!
Blood from a stone. Every country produces/dumps waste, in or near waterways. Most boat components, fishing gear, bait, ice, etc, comes in non eco packaging. Whilst local councils charge to properly dispose of waste at dumps, some will choose illegal dumping in isolated areas, bushes, waterways (like tires). Boaties can use marina/shore rubbish bins, but they blow over, lids blow or left open. Things have changed a lot in Au, reusable or paper bags for carting shopping, but most products purchased come in plastic. 100% compostable cornstarch bags are provided free in parks for dog poop, so that's a +. Society used to use washable nappies, that eventually became cleaning rags, now its lots of fossils to produce something that takes hundreds of years to break down.
Take a look at the amount of plastic waste washed down rivers, 4 foot deep and a mile long. Flooding and river dumping being the culprit. I'm old enough to remember when everything was packaged in glass, tin and paper, very little plastic. @@Lana_Warwick
