Thanks Andy you have inspired me to talk the next step. I live in Mackay and have just brought a 2nd hand boat from Cannonvale with a 60hp Yamaha. I have been land fishing on and off all my life. And will be looking to have some fun on the boat soon. Your videos and the best l have seen on fishing and your cooking is a great bones extra. I enjoy the way you go about your fishing by only takings enough to eat that day. I all so enjoy seeing the blue, green water all the time on your videos. When I close my eye's I can still see the crystal clear water and all my stress has disappeared. Keep up the good work.

I have to say being nature and fishing enthusiast that it'd be great to show some more footage of wildlife you see on your trips other than the fish you catch. I understand that some people might come for fishing but some of the moments you filmed here with the humpback or white-bellied sea eagle were really inspiring, to observe such breathtaking natural phenomena is a pleasure to behold! I'm sure many others feel the same way. Great video and many thanks.

Recently went just north of Mackay to go fishing. Have to say one of the best fishing trips I have had. Used some of your tips in previous vids and managed to hook my first Barra, sadly the damn fish jumped and popped the hooks. Keep up the good work mate.

You have just turned out my new favorite video! Every second of footage set to music was stunning, incredible drone handling, terrific underwater work, and a pretty wicked looking recipe. The quick-jump edits while cooking came across very well. I suppose it helps that you went to the most beautiful place ever, but the colors your captured in this episode were completely INSANE! AMAZING WORK, SIR!!!!

Another great video Andy. I have checked out your equipment through the links that you have provided in some of your videos. That little charcoal grill you used in this one is the one I will be getting. It does a good cook and on a cold night, the heat would radiate beautifully from the embers. The open top lets you get ALL the heat, some of those closed in pot belly stove types are good....but not as good as an open fire. I will be visiting Drifta when I am ready to set myself up.

You know when the finnor lethal comes out, things are getting real ;) Side note, your lethal sounds identical to mine lol. Just a suggestion with the dewy mornings etc, have you ever looked into a US Army "MSS" (Modular sleep system). Ive not used one personally but theyre essentially a breathable but waterproof bivvy sack that you zip one of two (or both) sleeping bags inside depending on the temperature youre sleeping in. Might be something a bit nicer before the big boat comes along! Thanks again for another mint video mate.

Hello Andy! Something you might try next time is to render the chorizo in the pan first, then add the onions and garlic. The oils that come out of the sausage will flavor the onions really well

Out of all of your vids I have to say this is one of my faves. That whale, what an amazing experience. Scary, but amazing. The blue light beautifully highlights the fish swimming thru at night. I'm not a fan of squid but the way you prepared and cooked it made my mouth water. Thanks for another awesome video and I hope you get your bed back! ;)

Squid can be bland or amazing, try chargrilled legs! I just feel bad for littering a whole mattress.

Lucky you Andy that looks bloody beautiful mate I love calamari unfortunately for me while you're enjoying that beautiful squid I'm stuck at home in freezing cold Melbourne recovering from a knee replacement but as soon as the weather improves I'll be out chasing squid and trying your recipe

Oh dang! I started this as you were commenting, then it discarded what I said.......ugh!! Okay......so squid is one of my fav dishes........and I’m landlocked!! Really?? Okay. Here is my fave Leto recipe for squid. Your Mum would probably like this if she likes squid.......sauté the squid rings in sake, oyster sauce, chili sauce, a small amount of sesame oil, and a good amount of soy sauce.........OH........YUM!! My son loves to save the sauce to sip on later too!!
