Isn’t it amazing how we as photographers have developed the ability to find beauty in places where normally people just walk by without even noticing those details? Great video man! that was sick! 🔥
That’s right, you can find the beauty in everything and that’s the difference between the photographer eyes and normal person.. every photographer focuse into details and seeing everything different and make stories by anything
Most people see it, lol. They just don’t talk about it as pretentiously as “photographers” do. Beauty is better experienced than babbled about. When you lose the camera and live in the moment, you enjoy the beauty of life better.
First time I’ve seen a composition breakdown on location and I love it. RU-vid is missing this sort of content on composition thought process and how to train your eye. Learned so much from this video - using environment to block out noisy areas, noticing pockets of light and contrast, and using splashes of color. Can’t wait to apply them to my next walk. Thank you!
Forget the photography, it's the way you chose where to stand is pretty brilliant. First 17 seconds into your first video, I'm already a fan. 3rd pic is amazing, and is what hooked me to this video. But now I'm more amazed by how you're position yourselves in these locations. I hope you have a video or two on that.
Hi Adrien, I’m glad to see that your channel is gaining visibility lately, It’s well deserved! This format is great, it’s really interesting to learn about the way you approach composition. Please keep it coming!
That was really fun. Thanks for taking me for that ride. You were very efficient with that area at the end making use of all the spaces. Well done again sir.
Love the explanation of your on-scene thoughts about composition and the elements of the shot. You use of out of focus foreground elements to block areas in the scene was very interesting. Thank you!
Japan is already picture perfect, but this man just made every object and angles a story of its own, a story common passerby wont simply think of, this is the power of composition to compose a shot and make something meaningful for it. [ I also like how he inserts clips that we know would be more appreciated in a live clip format like something you can actually see in a movie ]
I was really moved by your shots, the music, your explanation, and your eye for detail / light. You make me excited to look for the beauty in the otherwise ordinary with my camera. Thank you!
I love how photographer’s brain works they beauty in every detail! also for some reason the lighting in japan during winter or spring is phenomenal. It makes the photos more beautiful.
I have been looking for an inspiring photographer that doesn't only want to sell me a camera and praise it the whole video, the actual art and thought process is so overlooked now.
It's interesting anyone can take photos of the same place yet in each photo, there's a personal touch from the photographer that took it, how the photographer sees the world and interacts with the environment.
What a great, great video. Wonderful to hear how you breakdown the composition, the location, your thoughts. Even as I listened, in my mind I had my thoughts on each location.... Great work. A great learning education. Keep up this amazing work.
Fun to see so many people riding a bike there! Iam from the netherlands and here it is very common but didn’t know there were other places too with alot of bikes
i like that u r showing ur settings with the images, it helps me to learn a little bit more about it. sometimes i´m not sure about my aprature and the depth i want or will get and sometimes i have to make sure that my iso isn´t going crazy on my a6000. But for me it would help if you´d show the images a little longer, to enjoy the photo you´ve taken and analyse it and the settings you used. I think you show them around 3 seconds, probably 5 to 6 seconds would be fine aswell
I like the way you think. And I love shooting 50mm. So thank you for putting a focus on another focal length than 35mm or 28mm for streetphotography :)
this is really good video, you teach us for every piece foto you take, you explain it like pro its easy to understand, i loved it, hope you can make more video like this, i will enjoy every minute of it.
Truly brilliant ideas/concepts - not in books but in real life situations. This clip will be one of my reference points for street photography. Thanks much for effort & sharing. Take care.
- Quite instructive and substantial video. Curious to see photographer's thought-processes and outlining of the frame before shooting. It seems that sometimes more important than what is photographed is what one can bring out from the intended frame to be taken - whatever it is.
How much cropping in do you usually do? I am asking because I'm cross shopping between the A7 IV and the S5 IIX, the extra megapixels from the A7 IV would allow for some cropping in. I'm used to shooting with 20 megapixels on M43's and 24 megapixels on the GR IIIX. I usually try not to crop in from my images but can't help but to think 33 megapixels will allow for a new way of shooting.
I crop sometimes but not too much. Actually with 24mpx you already have plenty of room for crop ans if necessary you can bump the resolution in post with Lightroom
Beatiful images and very sharp footages ! what are the settings for video ? and also focus mode ? looks like zone focus. Thank you for your nice content !
