As her oldest child, I seen a lot and went through a lot. It took time but I now love my mother regardless. I would love to tell my side of the story of what it did to us as her children during this struggle!

I have spoken to this woman a few times in pittsburgh. The first time i met her she was "working" but as soon as she saw me she stopped what she was doing and actually spoke into my life she also told that i had a calling on my life, which i have heard before, but this woman is definitely annointed even in the midst of her trials. Sounds crazy i know, but its all facts. Stay up queen sis 🙏🏿

Her voice is soothing I can listen to her all day. She seems so knowledgeable and a prime example of what addiction is. She can be fixed and I hope one day she can pull through. I’ve seen it and she has time.
I believe every single word she said and her insight is incredible. It must be especially painful to truly know better and not be able to do better for oneself. I wish her clarity, strength, peace and sobriety.
When she said that her father was a pastor, I knew right then that her life was screwed up. I was raised in a church family and it was absolutely positively horrible! I wouldn’t wish it on anybody. Everything is no! So once you get older and venture out into the world where everything is yes, you kind of lose control because you now have the freedom to do whatever you want. My heart goes out for this lady. I truly hope that she finds herself.

I do literally just talking to my 21yr old about this. meaning Men. people say I'm too blunt wth my girls. no I'm preparing making them aware from lessons learned from my mistakes 💯 2 girls 14 and 21. I have never allowed any man in my home around my girls. other than their dad. it's a respect thing for me. I am grown an adult and I pay my own bills. but my goal is to protect provide and protect. why I don't sugar coat anything with my girls.

She's a beautiful woman that went through turbulent times in her life with no good men. Unfortunately those were terrible choices she made. But thankfully she came from a good family and I really believe she will come back to live a life her parents instilled in her. She needs a strong intervention, a great rehabilitation and all her family's love/support. With that said I believe she can turn herself around for the better. At 15 she had no business getting married as a child. I bet it was a grown pedo man. Religious family messed up from start which was her father. No good men are to blame for her beginnings in adulthood that she wasn’t supposed to be in at 15! Her turning to drugs later in life is her own accountability but no good men put her on this path since she was a teenager.
She reminds me of my own mother in many ways. We struggled as children with our parents addictions. Two parent household. Love was in it fasho. But we did have that devil interfering in the form of drug addiction. Aunts and uncles, etc. I watched my mother struggle further after my fathers death. But her story has become a beckon of light in my own struggles. 9 years clean and just a overall cooler, sweeter, absolute mom. Beautiful woman just like this woman. I’ll keep her in my prayers! And may her struggle with self being her back home to safety. Where she’s truly loved. Where devils aren’t screaming in the background. But I know how addiction can be tricky. But she has a story to tell and work to do, not only for herself, but others who are where she may one day say “she was”

When she mentioned a bright sunny day or a song or whatever would be a trigger, I agree. I used anything to get high or drunk in my addiction. Now holidays or any excuse to get high, I abhor and choose not to celebrate by getting high or drunk. The only thing to facilitate change now is to get sick and tired of being sick and tired. I have been a Crack addict and drunkard and meth, pills and other stuff. Today at 34 years old I am redeemed by the cost of blood bought love from Jesus Christ. There is hope for back sliders and abusers. Rebellion is as witch craft. The gift of God is Eternal life which also starts the day we harden not our hearts and allow God to come in and Sup with us.Amen

I tried warning my ex wife about this lifestyle and she wouldn’t listen.. she abandoned our 20 yr marriage and 4 kids for the streets.. went to the streets and now our daughter has done the same thing .. my daughter dropped out of college as a Bio Chem Engineer Scientist 4.75 gpa just to go dance go to OF..now drugs.. no matter how much I praised them and gave them love.. it was never enough they needed others attention and validation .. my daughter is living my ex wife’s lifestyle with running through men and ex living reckless on her second marriage to a total stranger .. I told her like I tell others and my ex and my daughter.. if you don’t deal with your demons they will deal with you and what you don’t confront you won’t change..and there are rules and boundaries in place for a reason and if you go past them you are bound to be in a place where you can’t get out of.. That father wasn’t too strict .. that father was providing wisdom instruction and protection and like she said she didn’t listen when he told her .. this is the price of not listening …and like my ex wife and daughter they say to strict.. so they now found themselves in a place where there is no boundaries and restrictions full of addictions.. my daughter has been in the streets homeless for 4 yrs and my ex wife and her husband out in Las Vegas homeless hotel to hotel..sex and drug addicts .. It is better to obey than sacrifice !! Or we will learn obedience by the things that we will suffer..
Continue to Pray for them especially your daughter she got to know for herself she deserve better. I’m a mother so I know your heart hurt for her but unfortunately you can’t do it for her, she got to want it. I Pray her mother didn’t contribute to her daughter’s downfall because she’ll have to pay for that and we don’t know the price!!’

We're all Addicted To something. Processed food is the biggest addiction, just without the warning label...I challenge anybody to try eating just fruit for a month [30 days] and you'll realize how powerful food addiction is, let alone, battling drugs and alcohol as well. Maybe then we'll be able to empathize with anyone who is dealing with an Addiction.

This really brought bk memories of my addiction. I have experience alot of the things she has. . prayer is great but u have to take action. I needed a therapist, a support group like NA, a sponsor to talk things with, and to get into the road of recovery. I have 2yesrs now and I'm 51 too. I thought drugs would be my life. But I reached out for help, made a decision and life is getting better. Stay strong so u can laugh and love again.

Drugs was a big part of her issues but there's a lot of deep hurt and pain that drove her to them which just added to her problems. Maybe she can restore some sense of normalcy by facing her past mistakes with this interview and God's help🙏🏽...
