This is the 2nd Hampton Bay Huntington III Ceiling Fan that I’ve got and restored for Habitat.
This fan is in Polished Brass finish, has 5 Rosewood blades, it has 4 lights light kit, it has 4 clear incandescent light bulbs, it has 2 original Hampton Bay pull chains, the UL sticker says August 2004, and this fan is from January 2006.
The blades are reversible, they are Rosewood and Medium Oak.
Parts that are not original to this fan: Light chain switch, Fan chain switch, and longer chains.
The light chain is brand new because the old one wasn’t working right.
The fan chain is brand new because the old one had a broken screw nut, and it was coming apart.
The chains were originally used to be short, but I longer those chains because I wanted this fan to look nice.
This fan come with light bulbs. They were: 2 60W Sylvania clear incandescent light bulbs, 1 25W Sylvania clear incandescent light bulb, and a 60W CFL light bulb. I changed the 25W bulb with a new one because it was kind of dim, and I changed the CFL bulb with a new one because it didn’t match. The 2 new bulbs are 40W clear GE incandescent light bulbs, they do match the other ones really good, and they’re not too bright or too dim.
This is the 48th fan that I’ve restored for Habitat.
