You could just not larger your laundry room and replace the builders best with a smaller fan like a HB Metarie or an Allen + Roth Laralyn or a Westinghouse petite

I know what you should do with the Builder’s Best: 1. Replace the Oakhurst at the guest house with this fan, then sell it. 2. Flushmount the Builder’s Best. That way the blades won’t hit the door. 3. Move it downstairs to your dad’s TV room. The Landmark can be restored this way.
