This was so interesting to hear about your training of the dogs and what all the gear is for and how you go about it. Seeing the dogs pop into the video when you did the clickers made me laugh, no need to apologize whenever your dogs appear on camera, would love to see more of them when you are doing your locksport. Seeing the nose work in action was great, I have not seen that before. Wonderful that you can train them as working dogs to help people. My assistance dog I trained her with the help of my wife who was a dog trainer when younger. This whole video was awesome. Thank you for taking the time to do this and very best of luck to you in the draw, cheers
Hey PW! Thank you 😊 Dogs do love to interrupt me whenever I'm in my lab 😅 but I usually make a new video. But seeing this, I'll keep them in from now on! 😉 regarding all the training, it keeps them happy and mentally exhausted because you can get your dog tired physically quite easily by throwing a ball for example, but as soon as he rests for a bit, he will be wanting more. After a couple of hours of training like this, they sleep all day the next day how tired they get 🤣🤣 but no matter how good he is, because he is a sighthound they didn't wanted to enlist him so we do this for fun and to show people that there is more to whippets than they thought.
@@DPLocksport whippets are a wonderful bread of puppy, it is discrimination that they only take scent hounds and not sight hounds. If a dog proves they can do the work then they should be able to enlist their help. Yes please keep the dogs in your videos. You have centered your channel around your dogs with the logo and name of your channel so featuring the dogs just doing what they do when you are filming in the lab would be something people will want to see. Plus it makes for fun content to break up the lockpicking with a cute face coming on screen to check out what you are doing and to assist you to remain calm while picking locks. Cheers
