This is a dark relation to LBP2 after 4 years, but my dad and I used to play this game a lot when he was around, and when he took his time to be a fun dad there was nothing else I could've wanted more in the world. Sadly, however, his death carried an emotional bag of bricks on my self-esteem and happiness. Feeling so alone and broken that someone who I should've spent more time with was now gone; forever. Fast-forwarding to 2022 though, I had dreamed about Eve’s boss-level fight; where I'm the one playing as Sackboy inside my dad's body, and I have to kill the meanies inside HIM before it’s too late... An irrational part of me thought it was all too real; the endless days and nights of living without a father could potentially be put to a halt, and I could save our legacy. Expectedly though, the saddest part was waking up and feeling utterly disappointed. Knowing that my mind managed to sabotage my childhood, and turn it into a mash-up boss level… My only wish now is that dreams could be the reality, but true vision won't hold me back either.
Same dude i used to play this game with my sister and my dad but he left so that kinda ruined my childhood, and i am really sorry for your dad, i think that he was a great dad tho
Omg This was the most emotional story I’ve ever heard I’m so so very sorry for your loss I’m very sure he was great, and that’s must’ve been a crazy dream.
That must have been one heck of a dream dude. Im sorry for your loss of your dad:( and at least know that you have these great memories that felt amazing you should cherish daily, stay strong as always and don’t forget that he’s probably watching you from above being proud of how you’ve grown. 😄
1. i get the night-huge-city-neon-lights vibe. (like wowza i remember how i loved the roleplay city maps, especially when there was night mode.) 2. at the beginning it sounds melancholic. really melancholic.
4 years too late but I totally feel this, I want to know who made those maps based on IRL cities, san francisco, LA and some others, whoever made those maps I want to shake their hand
Before I got to Eve’s Asylum, “Whoever Brings the Night” was my favorite boss theme in this game, until I got to this boss, and I immediately made this my favorite boss theme.
@@gairisiuil I can't explain this incredibly specific life event well lol But this comment tells me that you don't struggle to open plastic tubs/cups often enough
@@daixensorest i dont usually have to struggle that much unless the air pressure did something stupid, and even then it doesnt make a sound like the main synth in this
I always loved the lbp1 tutorials for the background. having the moon settled into the background in a sea of clouds was so surreal and I was just entranced by it I guess.
Having been a recent fan of Royksopp, I randomly felt like diving into LBP2's soundtrack for a nostalgia trip, only to realize that this was also made by Royksopp LMAO
this track is so much more chaotic than the others. It's deceptively similar to other laboratory soundtracks and then descends into the most nasty bass I've heard.
I always expect the lyrics to start up and get slightly confused before I remember I'm listening to the LBP 2 soundtrack and not Royksopp. It's the same way with Sleepy Head.
😭 i miss this so much. I rmr my siblings playing lbp1 and i was 5 and i got so curious and started playing it and id always spend hours on end playing it and decorating my pod into gardens then when i got lbp2 . Id wake up as early as 8 am to play the story and horror levels. I even met the best people and wed spend hours making levels and costumes and all sorts of stuff. I still remember the jump levels and when lbp3 came along I absolutely loved the different storylines. The game was a big part of my childhood and id never forget it till this day
Hell yeah, I remember a friend of mine apply it on me and there was no way back, Gladly I had a copy of my data like 10 minute ago of the situation and the thing is he wasn't going to play anymore tho so I was literally going to stay with it forever tho.
@@100sackboykid I think if you had plasma/electric you had to apply fire in the split second your alive and then toggle off the fire. It was super hard to get right but it was possible. Good thing you had the backup tho. I never learned the fix for the DNA object's cancer, that thing really could break the game
I don't get why are you saying that level wasn't good enought. Why aren't you saying that THAT stupid chicken is the easiest in the game?! That level wasn't so easy!
@TheFnFan1 I have it, but I remember it being more difficult to get it. I got platinum on that game on the ps3, and I could have sworn that yellow head was obtained by acing every level.
