Take a look at this stunning Starship Troopers Pinball Machine by Sega! Todd Tuckey explains some neat points in this little seen, extremely enjoyable machine! #StarshipTroopers #SegaPinball #TntAmusements
I'm just getting back into the pinball hobby and just finished shopping my home use only Starship Troopers as well. I used Cointaker LEDs throughout. I didn't like the way some of the inserts looked, especially the planets, because of the "hot spot" effect as seen in this video. I moved the LEDs further away from the inserts (1/4") using plastic spacers and longer screws and now the entire planet inserts glow and look beautiful. I also notice a few of your white insert LEDs are "ghosting" or "flickering". This game is apparently notorious for this and you have to use the non-ghosting variety LEDs. This is a very fast and fun pinball! I love your videos Todd. Thanks for sharing your expertise with everyone.
Actually the brain bug appears when you hit directly the last ramaining bug that can be either a hopper or a warrior. If you do it as a hit from the flipper, then the brain bug will appear; if don't, then it just will display the next planet.
I'd love to work for you. The only things preventing it from happening are totally abysmal workshop skills and the fact I live over 4000 miles away. Apart from that it's a perfect match up. :p
TNT Amusements Inc are they circle grills or are they just a square like a Whitestar stern, just with a circle cutout? Can’t find one to buy that’s a circle.
Hated that movie although our dude from CSI who works on them bodies is in this movie. Still without a leg. It was alot of slime in this movie and by now Michael Ironside was annoying , he was fun in Highlander but not here.
