hello do you know if they are going to be coming out with a new firmware for the Uniden BCD996P2 reason I am asking is a lot of people are having big problems with this scanner not being able to get it to work right and they do not sound right either most people are sending them back and moving on from the product I hope they get things worked out for the BCD996P2 as I am waiting for mine in the mail and its been two weeks and I do not want to have to send it back. Thanks
TOPROLLER101 I have no idea. I don't have the bcd996p2. Sometimes it takes months to come out with new firmware. Unless too many people having problems with the radio. Keep a eye out on RadioReference.com for updates.
