I’m getting ready to start the same work on a ‘56 that’s been in my family ever since it was bought brand new. Your videos are great and I really appreciate the in depth discussion and details. Looking forward to seeing your progress and completed project!

I'd use Endura paint almost as good as powder coating. if you put it on correctly 22 longs have a hard time chipping it. Awesome looking ride so far. Peace

I’ll research it now. Thanks!

I dig the zip tie trick. I'm never a FAN of mounting them directly to the radiator because of issues I've had in the past, but I'll have to remember that next time I don't have a choice, nice work 🤙

Did you get the cover built to hold the radiator in place? Would you show us what you did? Thanks.

I just got a simple precut piece of aluminum sheet from Tractor Supply, and bent it in three sections with a cheapo Harbor Freight metal brake. Worked perfectly and looks great. My email is in the description if you want to shoot me a message, I’ll send you some pictures. You can also see it in some of the “shorts” videos.

You happen to have the part number of that radiator?

Awesome thanks have you found a shroud for it? Also what about the electric fans do you happen to have a link for that?
@intheshoptv

@@juanrocha6548 Sure, here’s the fans: amzn.to/46u8sh1 Ive not gotten a shroud and don’t think I’ll need one… these fans pull a LOT of air. But in the unlikely event that I’ll need one, I’ll just head over to the local sheet metal shop with a template. Do you have the same truck/engine platform?

Yes I do I am pretty much running the same setup my 6.0L is a gen 3 tho yours will be alot better your fabrications skills are way above mine

@@juanrocha6548 I’ll tell you what… Ive yet to see one of these trucks that didn’t turn out cool - from people who cant fabricate at all - to people that run circles around me. Just be creative and have fun with it. It will come out great, and it will be YOURS… Truly one of a kind!
