Say what you like about Choc, he is one of Australia’s greatest ever athletes. World class in two sports in his prime. Behind the scenes you will never find a more generous and giving man in sport, too generous to his own detriment. Never drank in his whole career, never saw him stumble out of nightclubs, could have made millions more from gambling and alcohol sponsorship for his fight nights but chose not to, given its impact on his community. Love him.
@@coreyjohnston9195had 10 pro fights, no amateur career and then fought for a world titled against Sven Ottke who had over 300 amateurs, was a European champion and bronze medalist in the Olympics as an amateur, retiring as a pro, undefeated. That’s world class. You don’t have to like him, but you can’t deny his greatness.
@@coreyjohnston9195I love Tim Tszyu, but Tim hasn’t fought anyone of the calibre of Ottke, who Mundine fought at 26 after 10 bouts. Hope Tim continues to have a great career.

Anthony is unique.Many people have tried to do what he has and failed.He made his mark in two of the hardest sports and even though he’s been outspoken,historically he will be judged on his sporting Merits!Remember,Jordan failed at two sports!!
That's true innit and Mosley was a decent fighter. At that exact moment he had the whole of Australia behind him I reckon people were like yeah Mosleys pretty good but he's not "Our Choc" lol
Anthony Mundine is Australia's greatest athlete of ALL TIME! He never gets the respect he deserves because Australia is a racist country & there is nothing that Australians hate more than a cocky, confident, out spoken, black fallah who is better than all the white athletes. He always schooled the best 5/8's when he came up against them & what he achieved in the boxing arena was unbelievable. I'm from NZ & what I love about Choc the most is that he has always stuck up for his people NO MATTER WHAT, he was the voice for Indigenous rights, & he did it on his own. He always tried to inspire them & make them believe in themselves & he taught them that they are not inferior to the white man. When I was young growing up in NZ in the 90s they would always play interviews of Choc on the national sports talkback radio show on Sunday nights & I would just listen in awe to this brilliant man every Sunday. HE IS THE TRUTH. Long Live Anthony Mundine...The Greatest!!! 👊 🏈
