Big Brain Tip: You can set up a Bixby Routine to automatically switch screen resolution to 1440p only when RU-vid/Netflix (or whatever you want) are open and then when you exit, it goes back to 1080p 120hz

One thing I would like to suggest to you is to do a better job with your microphone and sound deadening as the microphone is picking up static noise from your room and its very noticeable. This is a blessing for people like me who is learning first time. One request pls when you show how to set up pls give a few second for people like me to find the icon as you have done in camera video. I am the person who keeps on switching bluetooth on and off as you mentioned but i cant find the audio function on drop down menu so unable to follow your instructions. Also one more suggestion pls make video a bit shorter so can play again and again to learn it properly. Instead showing 100 or so tips pls make a video with 25 tips for beginner. Also it will be very useful if you make a video for the beginner or less technical mind how to set up the phone taking one or two subject at a time. Thank you for teaching new features.
Sorry for the late reply! But I have made a note of all the suggestions, next time when I make a video like this, will try and limit myself to 25-30 features or break the video up! 😊 As for the Bluetooth audio thing, I have a feeling Samsung might have changed something, they always do after updates, so it becomes a little difficult to follow, I might re-make a video about this.
Rewatching these looking for more awesome tips on my Note 20 ultra. Does the caller edge lighting work? Meaning does the edge lighting light up when u get a call? Doesn't work for me
Man, you are awesome! Yeah, it doesn't work anymore, that feature has been replaced by 'Calling Screen Background' Samsung does this thing where they will remove certain amazing features then add them back again after a few updates 🙈

Just want to point out, that with the NOTE variation of the phone you can merely use the SPEN to take a screenshot of Snapshot (or anything else) with much less hassle and no notification sent out...if you are heavy into screenshots and such, you may want to consider it...It's amazing for that stuff.

I have an important question I hope you can help me with: On my 20 Ultra 90% of the time I don't want my personal location information to be stored on the photos and videos I take with it. However when I am on vacation I want the location information to be attached to the photos and videos I shoot with the Note 20 Ultra. What is the easiest and fastest way to enable and disable this feature? This will be VERY helpful to know! Thanks so much!
Hey Daniel, you will need to open the camera app up, then go to the camera settings and scroll down to 'Location Tags' that is the switch that lets you toggle weather if the phone should store location info in the photos or videos. This is pretty much the fastest way to enable and disable this feature.

Well Ho Ho Ho Samsung. I got a Note 20 Ultra for Xmas. That's $1400 phone. I purchased this from Best Buy and got a few cases to try out. THE VERY FIRST TIME I put phone in the case, the little bit of stress that the phone underwent cracked the front class from center right to center bottom! The phone works fine, you can't really see the crack unless you hold the phone at a certain angle but you can feel it. It's a 1400 dollar phone and you can't put a case on it? God forbid it should every be dropped. Called Samsung customer support and of course they couldn't care less. "so sorry but we don't cover physical damage". Well, I came back to Samsung after 4 years with an LG that cost about half of what this phone costs. My LG never had a single issue, I came back to Samsung specifically for the "pen". This is obviously a quality control issue. There are hundreds of thousands of these out there and I've not read any other complaints about this issue. Yes people have broken screens but they dropped the phone or ran over it with a semi-tractor trailer. I simply put a case on my phone in front of a room full of people who all witnessed the incident. I'll be writing Samsung about this and I'll be posting this comment in EVERY SINGLE YOU TUBE reviewers video. This is completely unwarranted baloney that should NEVER be able to go unaddressed. This is an abusive mistreatment of a customer on the part of a company that is simply unwilling to acknowledge that it might actually have screwed up. BUYER BEWARE: If you're thinking of buying a NOTE 20 ULTRA don't even think about putting a standard case on it.
You know, the edge lighting effect I showed you in the beginning of the video works only when the phone is flipped upside down? If the screen is facing up then edge lighting the effect will be different. Is the edge lighting not working at ALL? you also have to select the apps for which edge lighting should work ( I have demonstrated that in another video)
@@TechGuyCharlie the phone is upside down. The edge lighting only works with the screen on. Doesn't work at all with the screen off. No battery saving is enabled, running in background is turned on. I've gone through every setting multiple times and everything is setup as it should be. The lighting is turned on for the proper apps. I even turned it on for all apps to make sure. I've actually experienced a ton of bugs with this phone since I've had it. I wonder if hex installer is causing me problems... I'm currently not able to receive text messages with the default text app either. But it works fine with Google messages. I already had to do a factory reset once since I've had this phone, I don't want to do another. I'm also getting rather blurry pictures in low light. With good lighting the pictures are mostly great, but even cloudy weather can cause the pictures to be pretty poor. Perhaps I have a defective device... P.S. edge lighting did work when I first got the phone, but I disabled it to save battery.

Really nice features this phone butt despointed with camera results it's has 108mp camera 8k support but zoom results not good im using also huaweip40 pro it has 50mp camera butt photos results awesome then note 20 ultra if you take photo with p40 pro and zoom it full never loos pixels butt take photo with note 20 ultra and zoom it full loos pixels blurry
This is a very useful video, 100% works the same way on older Samsung phones like the Note 10 etc. Tip: please move the time codes to the beginning of the lines (I know it's a lot of work) but that would allow us to skip tips we already know (seekbar then changes in RU-vid if the time codes are standard!!!)
I like your videos a lot and because I received an update on ONE UI 3.0 on my note 20, can you make tutorial tips and tricks, based on the last update. There are some differences between 2.0 and 3.0. Thanks!
One thing u said was when a little edge notification comes on the screen, you can get a pop up version of it by enabling it in settings and a little chat head appears. But if u swipe.down on the edge notification the same pop up chat appears over the app u are currently on. Try and see if u already didn't know

Unfortunately, I don't own the Note 20 5G, but the Note 20 Ultra should be very similar to the Note 20 5G featurewise, except for some minor differences.

Hi Charlie, great videos they are very informative. Can you suggest a good onscreen keyboard to use like gboard? Also do you know how to wake up the screen when you get notifications other than using edge lighting? Like most phones, the entire phone lights up so you can see what notification came through but I don't see that happen with the Ultra. Any help you can provide will be most helpful.
I use SwiftKey as my keyboard, even on iPhone lol. I think it works really well and has nice customization options for a better experience. I didn't understand your other question but I'm sure you probably found a solution by this time...? You're beautiful by the way 😊. Anyway, hope this helps and you're enjoying your phone!
They have moved it to notifications, so to to settings then notifications then brief popup settings, there you'll find edge lighting. This happened last month with the one ui 3.0 update, I've made a video about it 😊
