Hey good evening David. Congrats on the new implement! I'll bet in 6 months you'll agree that it was the best implement you have. It is so versatile. Cheers and a Happy Independence Day!
I know im asking the wrong place but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot my password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Scott Elon thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I have the B2601 with the installed 3rd function. Did the Wicked 55" fit with the quick attache and 3rd function from Kubota? Did you need to do any modifications from the stock models? Thanks!
Its been a while so... ? I kind of recall specifying the connectors when I ordered from EA. The 3rd function was installed by Kubota. So, everything worked out on the first try. The key is to communicate the right info to EA when placing your order. Thanks!
Have you had any problems with the grapple line rubbing? Mine nracket is exactly like yours and it keeps rubbing. I saw a bracket mounted sideways to avoid rubbing
I recently had a third function installed on my 2601 and am still looking at grapples. I would greatly appreciate a video explaining how the third function works and the nuances of operating a grapple. Thanks!
It makes the grapple open and close by a switch on the loader bucket lever knob. And their is no nuisances with operating a grapple. It's all a joy from the comfort of your tractor seat. When connecting and disconnecting u may get a drop or two of hydraulic fluid on you. I keep my connectors placed over in a bucket to catch any drips when disconnected.
Yeah...grapples are all the rage on RU-vid.....but here is a tip: A set of pallet forks will do almost everything a grapple will do for about 1/3-1/2 the money (depending on plumbing needs for the grapple) AND you have an implement that will move pallets....and you'll find suddenly EVERYTHING goes on pallets.
Hey Dave! Fellow homesteader/kubota owner here! New Subscriber too! Love your videos! I need to get a 4ft grapple for my kubota bx! I would use the grapple a lot more than I use my bucket now! Check my channel out when you get some time as well! Talk soon!
I have the WR Long on my Mahindra 26MAX XLT, 20 hours. It sees to be wired backwards (at least to me). Pressing the thumb button up closes, pushing it down opens the grapple. Cant just switch out the quick connect hoses, as the are male/female, etc. Any suggestions?
H Phillips, I went back and forth on that very decision. The hard part was that the L2501 is a LOT more tractor and about the same price. In the end I know I made the right decision. The B2601 is exactly the right size for my garden and property. It has a belly mower option and it can be trailered on a single axles trailer. The grapple is a must!
I almost got the b2601 I checked the 3 nearest dealership and they all told me the b series don't have any rebates. So I called the forth dealer and he priced me a b2650 1400$ less than the b2601. He also should me all the rebates that apply to the b series. I should get it in a day or so land pride has been slow sending them the 3rd function and grapple for dealership to install
My tractor was delivered yesterday glad I stayed with Kubota. I realize the wiring can be swaped on which button does what action. Do you know the standard or most common function of the top button does it open or close the grapple? Thanks and have a good one 👍
New channel here. Great stuff david. I have a massey 1735m I'd love a grapple on it. Is it easy to switch from buck to grapple. What area are you in. Northern Michigan here.
David, you are a hot mess. Lol. You're having too much fun with that thing. I believe they aptly named it! Do you have power lines where the trees are being cut? I couldn't tell.
I have this same tractor and same grapple. I think you will find it is the most useful implement you can buy. I've had mine for almost 3 years now and all but abused it will no damage what so ever. I think unless you are just blindly carless you will not be able to hurt it with the b2601. I also purchased their pine straw rake and use it with the grapple to clean up leaves, very effective for the larger oak leaves we have! Nice video!
observation: Why is it there are countless videos for a grapple hook for tiny Kubotas? Hell, just pick up the twigs by hand and stick the twigs in a garbage can.
@@HomesteadEngineering show a photo of a pallet of 700lb. Calling B.S. maybe high enough to move it somewhere but not at height. show a photo of a pallet of 700lb of blocks or feed bags.
@@itsruf1 Did you watch the video? I show the grapple moving all kinds of big logs that you would not want to move by hand. The load capacity at the bucket pin is around 1000lbs which translates into being able to move logs up to around 700lbs. Here is another video that shows how useful this grapple can be: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cAKmkBUdDec.html
