Thank you, Rabbi Friedman, for your guidance. When I was 17 just before going into the army my father who was religious man set me down and told me " if you will not demand respect you will not get it and how you behave and treat people is part it". This advice served me well all my life.

I would love to hear his wife speak too. She is the amazing being you bear and raised 14 children. When does Rabbi have time to spend and talk to his wife when he’s working to provide for 15 mouths, not including his. My ex husband is a pilot. We had 2 children and he was barely home. He speaks wisdom and makes sense but it takes both individuals to make it work. Not to discredit his credibility. I will apply these words and advice into my current relationship and I have been. My relationship is fantastic. He is my true soulmate. My ex was a catalyst for my true soulmate who I am with now.

Here is a question : in today's world, women work. Couples arrange to share household + couple duties. Did this situation exist in your life, as a father of 14 children. Yes, men get grandiose with Time. Egos get blown up. There is always a dominant. And someone who is supposed to shut up + give in. How can we navigate marriage in today's world, without delving into ideal situations and hypothetical scenarios please ? We are human beings. Tasks should be shared. If we put patriarchal + matriarchal positions aside, what would a modern day marriage look, feel + be like ? Remember, we are all unique (according to God's plan) and have different needs. And emotion rules us when we are in need and under stress. Women have egos as well. It is known that men + women are wired differently. It is often felt and observed that men + women are brought up differently. There is proof that equal opportunities exist but are remunerated on differing scales, depending on gender identities.
