So that took way too long lol.
But still, I'm really happy to be past the 50 point barrier! I've had 3 really close 48 pointers in comp leading up to this so I'm extremely relieved to finally be past this mental block. I'm also really happy to have gotten this on my last attempt of the year, it feels amazing to end 2023 on a good note.
To be honest I kinda haven't been pushing myself much with MBLD lately, for the most part I've just been practicing in the 60-62 range and safetying hard with 41-42 minute memo and trying to consistently get 50+ points. Now that I've done it in comp, I feel a lot better about just grinding hard again to get back to mid to upper 60s and being my true self again. No more baby steps, I’m confident that I will be able to try those kind of numbers officially in 2024. The worst is officially over, nothing can stop me now.
Fun fact: I doubled my MBLD PR this year lol, 26 to 52
