A drill guide would have made this job simple and accurate. Being a machinist, this made me cringe.

I wish we had one. Luckily the rim is hub centric so it isn't dependant on the lugs positioning the wheel correctly. Cringe away.

thats going to be sooooo unbalanced its going to cause an accident, clueless............... all your drilling and grinding. should have taken to machine shop.

Its going to be exactly like a bobtail semi. They run them all the time without a trailer. You are right about the machine shop but the wheels are hub centric so at least the lugs only hold it tight they don't center the wheel. Thanks for watching!
