Do you know which verse says, "Go out and preach to all the nations, baptizing in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"? Most mainline Christians use that formula, and they say that a baptism in the Name of Jesus alone isn't a baptism of the Holy Spirit. Using only the Name of Jesus is late 19th Century or early 20th Century at most. For 2,000 years all Christians baptized in the Name of all three Persons of the Holy Trinity.

Bertram Dahl Actually it’s the work of the Holy Spirit :). Remember, baptism doesn’t save you or keeps you saved, Jesus does. However baptism is an amazing thing and still something I have not yet done in my life! I hope those that were baptized come to Jesus in these final moments in the end of days before the rapture of His church. :D

Ephesians 2:8-9: For by grace through faith you have been saved, and not your own doing, it is the FREE gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast. Basically means that there’s nothing we can do to save ourselves, but by accepting the free gift of eternal life, we are then saved. The boast part means that, because the gift is free for ANYONE to obtain, there’s no reason to brag about it. Also, please don’t get any tattoo or RFID chip vaccinations that can do the following: -Hold your identity -Hold your bank information -Be used to buy or sell -live GPS tracking. These are some of the things that will be part of the Mark of the Beast. Revelation: 13:16-18 It’s something that will be forced on the world at the mid point of the 7 year tribulation period ( 3 1/2 years), and anyone who doesn’t get it cannot buy or sell. My point is that if you are left behind, and if you don’t reject getting this, you’ll be worshiping the anti christ/satan rather you realize it or not. Anyone who gets the mark of the beast, cannot enter the kingdom of God. However, the new born christians that are here on earth after the rapture, will reject this mark of the beast for their faith, and although they will be put to death, they will instantly be home with Jesus, and receive the martyrs crown if I remember correctly. Surely they don’t believe in these things ofc. I’ve met catholics who were open to not believing in a god or Jesus. They are for sure going to split and half will merge with the new world religion system. If you were a priest though, and were aware of the rapture and mark of the beast, and everything in general about the time of Jacob’s trouble, why did you turn away from it? Legalist and half-baked Christians are the reason people don’t like Christians. Baptism does not save anyone. Only faith in Christ can save us. The thief on the cross was not able to jump down and get baptized but Jesus knew his faith was real. Jesus knows who’s faith is real here. It is not up to us to determine whether or not they got saved regardless of if the baptizer was male or female which is absolutely ridiculous. If we are walking by the spirit and in the spirit we are empowered by the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead. Male or female. If we would begin living by the Spirit and walking in the spirit rather than pointing fingers at everyone, maybe we could be a greater Influence than the church is today.

@@life8801 Jesus had not died yet on the cross but regardless,Jesus of course did on earth have the power to forgive sins. Jesus himself was under the old law of Moses until his death burial and resurrection, as a will the testator must be dead before it goes into effect. The new testament and the church were not yet started until Acts 2 when it came with power as predicted. So the thief was under a different covenant yet. The new law begins after the cross. (yet we don't know the thief could have been baptized by John the baptizer looking forward to a coming messiah at that time frame) . For the time after the resurrection Jesus teaches---he that believes AND is baptized will be saved. He did not say he that believes is saved, and then will be baptized. Also Jesus said to be baptized FOR the remission (forgivenesss of sins). Nowhere is there a sinner's prayer or someone praying through after the resurrection given as a command or an exampled in the new testament to an alien sinner. I refer you to Galatians --3:26-- and 27. Matthew --28:18-- 19, Mark --16:15---16. Also, respectfully, no where does it say anything "alone" can save you. You have to see everything the new testament tells you. Piece them together. There is more than one step. Even though who believe faith only saves state it also required repentance... again the are not always placed in the same verse but one has to look at all verses, and the context of the chapters and books. Baptism is never called a work, if Jesus said to do it, it is obedience. And the only place that says faith alone is where it says actually "not faith alone" James --2:24--. All of the people saved as examples in Acts heard, believed, repented, confessed Christ and were immersed for the forgiveness of sins. Some already believed, started at a different place in the journey and none invited Jesus into their heart or said the sinner's prayer. I encourage you to read the examples through Acts. When they said what must we do, read and jot down what they were told and what they did do. In Acts --2:38--... they heard that Jesus was the Christ they killed, they believed and asked what to do, they knew they were sinners, and were told to repent and be baptized. Were they told pray instead? No. Act 8. Saul also saw the Lord and talked to him. Was blinded. Saul prayed for 3 days but still had sins when he arrived in Damascus. Jesus was resurrected at this point and Jesus has given the responsibility to humans to preach the gospel...humans are now charged to preach and teach.. so Jesus himself did not tell Saul to pray, or that since he was praying he was saved. No, he was told he would be told what to do by a man, Ananias... and he was told by Ananias to arise and be baptized "calling on the name of the Lord" (an example of how to call on the name of the Lord) and the verse said immersion was to wash away his sins... He still had his sins until he was immersed for forgiveness, and not because of. Acts --22:16--. The holy spirit came on the Jews and the Gentiles in Acts...why? to prove that we were changing to the new will of God at that point and that BOTH Jews and Gentiles were accepted into the church when obedient, this was a big deal the changing of he law that has to be accompanied by signs and miracles and that was predicted. Another good chapter is Romans chapter 6. then Col --3:12-- Act 16. I Thessalonians 1:8 (obey the Gospel.... Romans 6. Nicodemus born of water and spirit. Believe, what is it? mental assertion only? no. Yes, we must believe in Jesus, we must have Faith in Jesus... Faith is obedient. It is- I hear it, trust it, do it. Galatians 3:25-26 say were are all sons of God through faith... FOR as many of you as were Baptized INTO Christ have put on Christ. There is no verse that teaches the sinner's prayer but the new testament is full of teaching to be obedient, including immersion for forgiveness, to live faithfully and walk in the light after that to be continually cleansed by the blood, and if you willfully sin, at that point as a Christian you will pray for forgiveness of those willful sins. I John 1. Other examples written for our learning in the old testament, Naaman had to obey and do what God said. He had to believe and obey and God put cleaning of the leprosy in the water. His obedience was by faith and no a work but he had to do it where and exactly as commanded x7. Noah, had to be saved by faith that believed, trusted and obeyed. He did not save himself by works either. And The serpent on the pole, faith but had to do something "look at it" as salvation was in the looking, an act of obedience. How if we believe, are obedient, are baptized INTO Christ (all through Colossians 1) then Jesus himself "adds" us to his one church at that time.. Acts 2:40 and 41 and then 2:47 "and The Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. Romans 10 is about we were under the law system, Moses law for the Jews but NOW under the faith. a system of faith, for EVERYONE who calls on the name (remember example in Act 22:16) "but they have not all obeyed the Gospel" We get faith by hearing the word of God, and must obey all steps of it. We should just do what he says.
