Had the pleasure of working on a Counterforce (almost as nice as yours-UNSHOPPED!) in a bunch of games for a pinball league in northern VA; figured it'd be the problem child (System 80 right?) - assembled it ... fired right up with no problems! BTW- the ones that gave me and the other guy I was helping out of the lot(including a Stern Cheetah and a Gottlieb Bounty Hunter and Buck Rogers) the most trouble: Williams Flash & Black Knight LOL!!! remind me to tell you the story of how this pinball league got these games sometime (lucky guys!!!)

But except for a flame broiled few cabinets think just about every video I like. almost seen them all. as far as pinball goes. As far as silver solder goes. Be glad 35mm film is almost gone since they were worried theyd run out of silver to make film ;)

I like almost all brands and generations pinball machines. And I'm a sucker for rare games. On your channel, they all get attention. Including games that almost nobody has ever seen or heard of. Glad to have a fan! I did watch your three videos!! Good job! I am aware of all the collector recommendations for those grounds, but in my opinion, just doing the extra wire from logic to driver board is all that is necessary on system 80. On the 80A, you have to do the transformer ground mod on bottom too. The capacitor should always replaced too. In the perhaps 1500 Gottlieb games of these systems we have sold over the years, never did the other mods and we have had virtually zero service calls! Plus, all those extra wires makes it look "ratty!!" But just my opinion!!! :-)
Digital scores stopped working on all 4 players. Everything else works on the play field. Reset all connectors on the back panel front and Bach. Any ideas?
lots of awesome sound effects from Gottlieb's "Star Race"! :D You should have put some colored LED's instead of the bleak white ones in the top of the playfield. it still looks pretty good! BTW Did you ever had a "Star Race" in the shop?
Sold several Star Race's over the years...we have only been doing these videos for perhaps 2 years or less...we cannot do EVERY game that comes through, BUT we would try to do more obscure ones like Star Race for sure!

Benn watching your videos for sometime now & their entertaining & informative. But is there someway (maybe a 2nd channel on RU-vid) you can go into more detail about the repairs you do. I.E rebuilding flippers, fixing sticky drop targets and sensors, general repair & maintenance . At the moment I'm having trouble with a optical sensor on Pirates of the Carrabin. Hope you get your TV show!!!!!!!!!
maybe one day when we are not busy we can do tech videos...gotta work on stuff that brings in money to pay these guys--these videos you see are made for the new owner before we deliver them and for others entertainment! ...sounds like the optic needs to be reheated on your Pirates!

Yes, he seems to be obsessed with us and our videos! He should concentrate on his own games and sales. I have not mentioned or referred to him in our videos in months, and NONE of our EBay listings or our website mention ANY competitors and do comparisons. We just state what WE offer with every sale--quality work, guaranteed forever and in writing minimum 50% trade in credit--even 30 years later, forever FREE phone service--even late at night, and IF in home service is needed the first 5 years, a flat LOW cost (like a deductible) to come out!
